did you change the pinion or gears to run the 11.1v lipo?
I did a nicd battery hack it was an old 8 cell nicd pack that I took out each one of the cells and placed it in my remote now I dont have to buy batteries anymore. though I am trying to find a way to charge it.

@laxbomb124 Nitro is cool and all but brushless is faster, cleaner(enviroment wise),and more efficient.
@vineshvijayan the truck costs $280, but to go that fast you need a 3s 4000mah lipo(min) and a lipo charger. so you are looking at another $100 at least. its a tough truck tho, mine has lasted along time on 3s.

i just bought mine a week ago. and with the right battery and gears will put it over 70 mph. it says with the 8.4v batt and the extra gear will do 45+. i havent changed that gear yet and i walk away from my brothers nitro truck. his is rated 45+ right out of the box

are the batteries (car) waterproof because ive heard they not waterproof which kinda makes waterproof motor pointless?
