@jojji22 eBay has the tires that I have on this Jato $15 per set. Needle settings will be based on the type of climate where you live. I live in hot humid Florida so I turn half turn to the lean side. As far as gearing I have the stock 54t spur gear, but a 20 tooth clutch bell, With the larger diameter tires, the shorter gear ratio this would allow the engine to spool up into its power band much easier and propel the truck without hesitation. This also helps launch the truck out of deep sand.
Wow man, thats so good. I am looking for off-road tires and wheels for my Jato. Can’t find these Moab 2.2. I actually did buy Dirt Hawgs and RPM Clawz Rims but they won’t fit on my jato
And can you tell me your needle settings please? My Jato won’t wheelie this much, I really don’t wana tighten the slipper clutch.

Yeah the Jato’s brakes just aren’t good.
I have one of these Jato 3.3′s. It is really a nice truck to drive, but my brake doesnt seem to want to engage much, and I cant figure it out. but I run on dirt and all surfaces and its super easy to handle I use the Proline all t wides, on the 2.8 rim setup. They ballon like mad but it isnt hard to control
No, not really. It just gets a little squirrely at high speeds. If you know how to control the truck, than you will be fine, and it is a lot of fun off road.
is it realy as bad as people say it is off road?

As much carbon fiber and aluminum as modifying as I could. Trying to make it as light as possible.
Maybe try running a little more lean to give it some more power.

hey i got new jato 3.3 for christmas and just cant get it to do wheelies. I got proline dirt howg tires on it and it still wont get that front end up on the road or dirt…

You have to be experienced to drive it. It can get a little squirrely unless your a good driver. On pavement, in an open parking lot it is easy.

Tiger I know it’s a commercial, I work in the industry.. but the mods on it are real, as I said I have one, it looks nothing like what that is.. It’s mod’d for total offroad, not stadium!

What the hell… That Jato is a beast! I’ve got a 3.3 that I bought 3 months ago, and is a shelf queen. It’s too fast to really do anything with!! What upgrades do you have on yours?it looks like you extended the chasis as well as put larger tires on it.
Let me know what all you did to your Jato, if you don’t mind I’d like to do the same!!!
hey man this is meant for offroad. but usually with these you can change the tires to drive it in the street.
