Hard to tell from the vid but this boat is fast for brushed motors… running all day she stays cool as can be. This boat carves really well, heavy ass V bottom : )

how does it stay cool
i know its not the same but i have a truck that burns up every time i turn my back
im thinking about getting a villain tho and i want 2 know more about them
Ru running the stock esc?
it is heavy but, i have had mine at the most 8 inches out of the water off of a 6 inch wave, but it does handle rough water really well
i have a villain ex with 3600 trinitys and at full speed on smooth water she is barely in the water, if any one has any ideas bout adding trim tabs id like to hear them
my villian is pritty much the same as yours only difference is im using 21 turn 550 and they work beautiful. my villian is about as fast as yours. im using 8.4v 4500mah batterys and they work briliant.
don’t use venom pack’s venom 3000=fun promatch 5000= holy s*#t this thing has some snot now i recomend promatch nimh to anyone good price hand made high quality cells
hell yea, the heavy v-bottoms carve like a real boat… perfect boat for a choppy day…
Thanks bro!
well im guessin the heavy-ass bottom’s keepin it from achieving liftoff if it hits a wake.
very nice ride, nice vid 5/5
I have a Villain IV too. I’m looking 4 a great esc that i can use.(my esc is dieing) Were did u get that esc, online im guessing? Another thing, the motors are they 600 7.2 v, 8.4 v, 9.6v? I just really need to upgrade mine. Good job with yours! =D
i heard that the new villain ex has an adjustable trim so u can raise and lower the bow for maximum performance
300aud which is 245usd, its 100% RTR!
how much?
You want just enough of the boat in the water to mantain the level of control you are comfortable with. Faster will be “looser” or less in control… The best way to trim out your boat is to lift as much of the nose out of the water as you can, until it begins to “porpus” or bounce. Then back it off a bit. The more boat contacting the water the slower you go, also the added drag generates more heat.. Get the upgraded prop shafts and Octura props (X447 L&R), Will make a huge difference!
i have the new villian ex and it is a heavy boat but with 3300mah or bigger batteries it is really light on the front end i mean only about 2 or 3 inches of the boat in the water at top speed, any ideas on kepping the front down better will be great to hear
Anyone looking for a Villain that has been upgraded similar to this, I’ve got one for sale! I’m located in Australia but I’m willing to ship overseas, PM me here and I’ll respond ASAP!

(Hope its alright with you, igottalongone)
hey i got a boat that has twin 380 motors and i know they made a 540 upgrade so i got the traxxas titan 550 12t and it is also a single battery boat i was gonna run two batteries though in parralell that way i would not double the the voltage, wouldnt that fry the electronics?
Yikes! Not sure on weight…
The motors I used were 600HO size…
Not sure what turn they would be, around a 21 turn I would guess…
Hello..total weight?..how many turns your motor?..5 star video
I love the ABC Super Hawaii…

nice boats, I’m looking into getting a boat also, what kind of motors are in that villain?
Sorry for the delay in responding. I got sidetracked on my villian project, I’ve got 6 new boats in mid-build right now. It’s going to be a race to the finish to get them all completed by spring. Yes! Those are the correct props. The X447L&R. Remeber, you will need to get them cleaned up and balanced.
