We understand that you can possibly get live help if you purchase it at hobby shops but nowadays, you can get all the free tutorial service we have on Youtube, forums, our phone lines, etc. Online is the way to go! =) -cn
Hi, i was thinking about buying the new rustler vxl and i wanted to know if i should buy online or at my hobby shop
@mynameisdanxyz123 the brushed engine gets much warmer than the brushless and the VXL esc can run lipos. i dont know if the xl5 can do that. i have a stampede vxl and it is a very good rc car.
guys i need help..im trying to get me one of these. i see there are two types, the rustler vxl and the xl5. is the difference just the top speed?
this will be my first real electric rc car and i want it to be a good experience.
any help is appreciated!

@rcawsome123 my vxl was an xl5, it was very fast (well to me it was) then i got the 3500x velineon stuff, now it hauls asslol

the begining is true, when i plug up my velineon to my batttery it sparks XD hahah TURE POWER! LOL
@ProductionsNolimits Honestly the MAMBA motors are just fine, but we have nothing but problems with MAMBA and Sidewinder ESCs… The longest lasting motor and ESC I have ever owned would be the stock Velineon in my Rustler, and I never went easy on it. The MAMBA stuff has some great features, but if your basher (like me) and not really into racing, then the velineon would work just fine… besides the stock rustler/bandit/stampedes are a great price and very durable
Whats better The Mamba Max or Velineon motor and don’t wanna go to expensive with motors.

@toxicmeteor101 completely normal my motor gets hot to with 8 sell nimh and on the traxxas website it says ultra high temperature motor so you got nothing to worry about.
in my traxxas bandit vxl i am using a 11.1v lipo 20c and my motor gets hot within 10 mins of driving, its 5000 mah and im driving in race mode, some one please help. also my esc comes on automatically with out me pushing the button. some one please help!!!!!!!
i have a bruhsless bandit and it was working perfect until today… it doesnt turn when u tell it to sometimes and also as soon as u plug a battery in a light comes on on the esc wihtout me even pushing the button. acceleration works fine but the steering cuts in and out, can some one please tell me how to fix. i think it mght have something to do with esc because power goes into it from the battery wihtout me even pushing the ez button. im running nimh and lipo . please reply and help me.:(
