@SargentBlah but electrics dont have the nice nitro sound in it and less weight too

  2. jessiebear612 says:

    how do u wont 4 it i will give u 250.00

  3. SargentBlah says:

@Jay146992 Wow, thats very respectable speed numbers that you provided. I didnt know that some nitros were actually that fast. Thanks for the info.

  4. Jay146992 says:

@SargentBlah That’s because tmax trucks suck even the ones with the 3.3 engine and this one only has a 2.5. If you want to see a fast nitro truck look up jato 3.3. it goes from 0-65 in 4 seconds. Also look up nitro 4tec 3.3. top speed of 70.

  5. SargentBlah says:

After watching videos of brushless ELECTRIC trucks running, and then watching a video of a nitro truck, I cant help but comment on how awfully slow the nitros are in comparison. When I see a nitro RC driving, its like watching slow-motion in compared to the brushless RC’s seriously.

@legostuffguy as a matter of fact you can put the forward/reverse servo in the middle with the button on the controller leaving the servo stuck in the middle of forward/reverse giving you neutral

  7. bradyhpifirestorm says:

@legostuffguy no but you cat “trick” the electronics easily so you do have neutral. i cal post a vid.

  8. guitarhero3rox97 says:

i love getting mine stuck in neutral so i can rev it :)

  9. imjustwonderful says:

got mine for free. my aunt told me there was a bunch of “toy trucks” in boxes in theyr barn. so she just hands me this and a whole butt load of parts, futaba radios/recievers, shock oil, tools, motors, springs, and an airbrush kit. it was a real rc barnyard find.

  10. legostuffguy says:

    @sk84lifethorney2 they don’t have neutral

  11. TheCodKiosk says:

im gettin this truck for 180

  12. sk84lifethorney2 says:

  13. sk84lifethorney2 says:

    was that nuteral at :39

  14. svttf77 says:

The reason why it is jolting is because when you changed from reverse to forward it didnt catch that happened to me with my 4908 tmaxx 3.3 i spent about 110$ on parts to try to fix the stupid reverse kit. I dont reccomend it. I kept stripping gears all the time. Its not worth the 50 bucks for the reverse kit.

  15. reggaecracker says:

im thinking of buying the 2.5 instead of the 3.3, all the clips i see of 3.3 are always pulling wheelies….i want to rally….not wheelie…. how do you like the 2.5 ?? did you mod. anything?

  16. highridinf250 says:

@MrYourjudge that crackling sound is actually the diff

  17. itzgangzta says:

@traxxas2121 lol. im getting one with a whole box on wheels with parts and an extra engine for 200

  18. traxxas2121 says:

never mind…. i just got a t maxx 2.5 with reverse 2 speed with remote with ezstart and charger for the ezstart….for only 250…. thats a really good deal… it was in sweet conditon!!

  22. bigdaddy852887 says:

    nice crome exzaust

  23. jerbar120 says:

    it boggoin down little bit

  24. traxxastmaxxrules96 says:

The reason the car jolts is not just because of the idle. It’s mainly because of the shitty design of the tranny. Inside there is a little peg or something like that, (i’ve tried fixing it but i can never find it) that engages the clutch inside when the revs speed up. This peg sometimes jolts or doesn’t engage properly, depending on the revs and causes the car to jolt. The newer style trannies are much tougher and don’t have this meaning they’re much smoother. Hope I could help

  25. 19Sesshomaru93 says:

it jolts because of the idle you need to find the perfect spot to where its just sitting still i had mine in a perfect spot till sum dude pulled out his emaxx and he and i have the exact radio frequecy so of course the emaxx will take over and he crashed my tmaxx into a mail box and the bulk head is completely shattered

  26. austinkx09 says:

haha do those kids ever get annoying?

  27. MrDorr4 says:

    u suck at jumping

  28. RCvehicleGuy says:

well, dumbass, i cant imagine why trowing a rc monster truck off the roof of your house might break it

  29. rm125511 says:

i hate traxxas i through my truck of the roof onto the road it was really worth it i will never buy one again :(

  30. rangerz2k5 says:

    turns out batteries were dead.

  31. jabbaba says:

had same prob with mine. took the remote control apart, (easy, only a few screws) then if you look for whats called a variable resistor (a round thing on the circuit board opposite the wheel on remote) you will have to carefully prise three little metal tags back and remove a brush plate. clean up contacts and plate, re-insert and bend tags back into position. it worked for me. all the best.
