FINNALY, MY RUNNING VIDEO. If you want to see the mods I have done to this truck, then SUBSCRIBE and see my other vids as they have all the info and tips you could ever want,
Video Rating: 5 / 5
This is a review of the traxxas stampede. I am reviewing this car as if it were stock, don’t pay attention to all the upgrades done to this truck, and none of the electronics on this truck. The car at the end of this video can become a stampede, rustler, slash, or bandit(anyone you choose). For that project it will have all the stock parts on it and most of them are “like new” or even brand new. The only parts that have been majorly used are the shocks and transmission which is in excellent condition considering it is all steel. The chassis however will definetly be brand new for any of the trucks you decide to prurchase. If you like what you see leave a comment saying you are interested and you would like to see this on ebay. I will accept a trade or just plain buying it.I just got the big bore shock set today which includes aluminum shock bodies, aluminum caps, proggesive rate springs and tin shafts!!!!!

stink that backflip… my stampede cant do one when the ramp is 7 in. up wit a 7 cell
@link98222 yes
dose tose tire bold up
@442paul cool, ill have to try it
@stampedevxl
its very easy, check out my vids, i use movie maker and they dont take long to make at all
@stampedevxl yeah its pretty easy to learn, theres tutorials all over YT, its the easiest editor ive ever used, YT has its own editor now but that looks lame, might be better than nothing though, just something so u can edit out parts like where u have to run way down the street and flip it back over.
@95666 I do, but I have no idea how to use it! is it easy?
nice, idk how i missed this, things fast! do u use windows? if so u should use windows movie maker and start editing. cool vid though.
If you have a problem with stripping spur gears you should an aluminum one from the toyz.com,$20 picked me up an 86!
@nts213 It’s how I set it up, they are big bore shocks from traxxas
What shocks do you have on your stampede it looks your truck is low.
@RapidFlux92 the 4s rating on the 4600 was back when it was first released
braking stock parts doesn’t sound very durable, i have my blackfoot xtreme, and i jump it all the time, and it is faster then my friends vxl with the 7 cell battery
why would you put that money into a stamped?? get a revo or somthing, a stamped dosnt have nearly have the abillity to handle well. anyone looking at getting a stamped dont.
my dads a cop and we were messing around were were raceing in a golf cart.the golf cart ran in over.nothing left
@psd2002 oh yeah!!!!!!!!
@psd2002 haha thanks, ill try if you subscribe!!!!!!!!!
i luv ur vids plz make more and would u recomend the rpm wide bumper
i luv ur vids plz make more
@jamesthefisherman94 the vxl itself
what would cost more the stampede xl5 with the upgrade to vxl or the stampede vxl itself
@stampedevxl yeah your right the 4600 slower than 5700 but it has more torque and yeah a lot of people use the 4600 motor for offroad and small technical race tracks. I think squirrelod said that you can use 4s on the 4600kv, but I thought it only could handle 3s lipo. Idk check one of his videos about which mamba is best for you.
No way, the 4600 is way too slow, thats for racing in small tracks!!!!
@stampedevxl then the 4600kv combo or the VXL system will be your best bet. also, if you get the mamba max pro system, it does not come with battery connecters you’ll have to solder them your self.
so that must mean that if I get that ill run cool, also that 9000 kv way way tooo much for the stampede, I want to run on grass!!!!!!!!!!
@stampedevxl I know but he’s also using a cooling fan on his 5700 motor. thats probably why his not having any issues with overheating. I think integy makes cooling fans for the electric motors but I’m not sure.
but rcdude33 has been having his 5700 run perfect on 3s lipo?
Ok, but it is a stock part, so its not like its upgraded with an accesory like aluminum or rpm!!!
If your are planning on getting the mamba max pro, don’t get the 5700 because a lot of guys are having heat issues with this motor. I was having heat issues as well and I already fried my 5700 and I was using the suggested gearing from castle. It didn’t even last for a month either. I was pissed. try getting the 4600 or the 9000.
@stampedevxl wut i mean if u baught a replacement part it is not stock. it is stronger than stock partsnow u get it
What?
it is not stalk if u baught them off the side line

And if im not mistaken, strc castor blocks where aroung $16, since last time when i bought them. Also, aluminum WILL NOT make any performance drops from weight. Throw some aluminum here and there, and you will not notice a different. What some people do is get aluminum chasis, tranny cases, and alot of other stuff, which the really adds weight to the car. Although, weight in certain areas, is better than lightness. I highly recomend strc castor blocks, and traxxas’ are i think $20-$23
Hey again, well, plastic flexes, which i agree to some point is better than bending. BUT, in some places, you DONT want flex (E.x. Shock towers, castor blocks etc..). In the castor block region, you can get GREAT castor blocks (STRC’s aluminum castor blocks for example), which i have used for about 7 months now, and still work fine. Stock castor blocks tend to break quickly, and rpms castor blocks tend to flex a bit to much, therefor bending the e pins (i think thats what the name is..
).
@arvint how can a heavier material, aluminum, help in the area of say, a camber blocks which is over $30, over a light plastic rpm part for $10 that is backed by a lifetime warranty?
Right though, RPM parts are great. the traxxas steel turnbuckles/camber links are better though. IMO more durable, and you can fine tune your toe/camber settings. Keep on posting vids!
