Modern Reinforced Hull
The cornerstone of Spartan’s tremendous ability is the all-new shell. The clean, contemporary hull structure is made of layers for the highest rigidity where it counts most, the transom and also ride pad.
Light-weight however tremendously solid, Spartan’s ABS hull was made to endure the stress associated with high-voltage brushless horsepower, without worrying about the weight penalty on the fiberglass shell.

The transom bulkhead even incorporates bosses for the trim tabs, turn fins, rudder support, and drive strut, eliminating the necessity for plywood doublers and additional electronics inside of the hull.
In the Spartan’s bow, molded foam is form-fitted with the interior, incorporating security considering it further stiffens the hull. Outside the shell, Spartan impresses features heavy duty, style is factory-applied graphics is a Traxxas trademark.

@mreid08 two 3s is what it takes
Can you run two 3s packs or does it have to be one 6s pack?
Forget the venom boat I want this rocket!
@bisesik You are right, the vee hull doesn’t appear to be very deep but it seems to be doing as well as my Supervee 27 with the UL-1 power plant. What I did with mine is I have 2 sets of trim tabs. One for chop and one for glassy water but I hardly bother with them as it’s so easy to change the prop angle. I think the Titan may still outrun the KOS in slight chop when set to ride a little wet. To be honest only time will tell and I agree, finding parts is important.
@ecoovert The KOS P1 is definitely not as fast but it has a deeper vee. If the water is like glass the Titan would be much faster, but a little chop and the KOS would likely be better. I’m planning on getting the Titan just simply due to it being a Traxxas. EVERYONE has Traxxas parts. The KOS cat that I already have, its wait after wait. May as well change out all the components.
@bisesik Looking at this video if you watch the on board camera portion this boat seems to be extremely stable for a v-hull.
@bisesik From what I hear the KOS P1 only does about 40 to 45 mph. Trust me; when Traxxas gives a speed rating it will do at least that speed with the recommended battery set up. What I would like to know is if this boat will do 50+ with the stock prop. If so you can make it go much faster with a balanced metal prop. It also appears they have built the hull of this boat to a higher standard so if you wish you should be able to upgrade your power plant. Not so with Venom or Aquacraft.
@traxxasrc97 The E-Revo VXL has a 380 size motor and the Rustler VXL has a 540 size motor. I have both and both use 3s This boat also has a 540 size motor but it’s a L or long version. These motors have the same diameter canister but produce more power. My Aquacraft UL-1 also has a standard 540 motor but runs on 4s. My experience with Traxxas is their speed ratings are accurate as well as their battery recommendations. On 6s this boat should do 50+ maybe mid to upper 50s with the right prop.
Im getting one already got my ordern at Unreal Rc
@GRHhyperlite i mean $399 sorry
@GRHhyperlite i mean $399 sorry
how mush
@chrissurinam you still cant hook up the esc from this boat to the motor on ur vxl rusty i think you said because the motor in your vxl rusty cant handle 22.2 volts but the motor in this boat can so i would stick with your stock motor or get a mamba monster those have much more power than the stock motor or the motor in the titan boat and it can handle 6s lipo
i looked up on the net. and it says that the velineon 3500 motor also is a 540 size motor the 3500 is just the kv just like the 1/16 it has a 380 motor but is also a 4000kv motor
@chrissurinam no because it would be too much voltage for the motor the esc would be pumping too much power for the motor to handle it and the esc is designed for that motor only so it wouldnt work sorry
oh so its a 6s system but a 540 motor
but then u can just use the 6s system and strap a 3500 motor to it right
@zachthepac they mean 2 3s lipos but a really good 6s can cost about $200-$250
@chrissurinam im not sure but i think that you might be able to modify this system to work in a car but im not sure it would have to be in a 1/16 or smaller car because it is a 540 sized motor and the usual size is 3500
when is velineon gonna make a 6s system for cars.I really want to upgrade my rustler with this system
@721069 no it’s perfectly fine a lot of people do it I was jus worried bacause traxxas still hasn’t released it but i guess it’s ok!!!
Isn’t it illegal to take Traxxas footage? Just askin…
it’s great at 1:57 it roosts a swan…..lol
Are the traxxas logos on the hull stickers? I’d rather them not be on it if I bought one…
Looks great, and fast but looks unstable. Thinking of this or King of Shaves P1 brushless.
Im going to pre- order one!!
