I posted on April 25th that I am running the mamba max with a 7700 motor. but i have switched to a tekin redline system. thing is a beast!

@3DHobbyShopRocks um no you didn’t, i just looked through all the comments, and the only one that has something close is one from you that says”Brushless 5700-7700kv motors,a lot more power than a stock slash.” so thanks for the specific answer

@NitroMxRacer There running mamba motors and lipos,none of the cars are mine in the video. I only slept two hours and didnt have time to get my cars ready.
What engines are you running?

What batteries were you guys using?
@jossyyjuan I’m running a mamba max with a mamba 7700 motor. but you can only run up to a 2c lipo. i tried running a 3c but it over heated to quickly. try the velineon with a 3c. i run that in my slash now. its just as fast and runs cool.

@humvee600 Those motors are fine in a slash when geared properly,the slash drive train is up to the task as well.
@3DHobbyShopRocks , those motors r only for if u want to destroy your own car, and it gets too hot
Full mamba combos ?? I WANT SPEED and lost my $ on the velineon,im planning to buy an 11.1v lipo and work with the gearing on my 2wd but looking at your video,mm im now thinking,what exactly you guys got there ?

the vxl brushless system is built by traxxas. yes its good for the slash

the 2wd slash is a tank. add some rpm parts, and you will never have to worry.

all the trucks in the vid are running mamba systems. the vxl is a good all around bashing system, but we love speed, hot nasty speed.
