@MrDiegoloco1904 The vast majority of my reviews are positive, but 100% of them are blunt and honest. I refuse to gloss over real flaws in products that I test or just say everything is great and a “must buy,” “5 stars,” “two thumbs up” to try to artificially gain more favor with manufacturers. What I care about is the truth and making sure the RC community has unbiased information they can use to make their own decisions.

im a 4ch and 6ch helicopter rc pilot and i want to have an rc car a brushless lipo one and something very fast im used to fast vehicles helicopters are very very fast so that wont be an issue in fact i want something fast and low maintenance and can do very hard bashing and has a reasonable price thanks

@DrnkSqrrlProductions When I review something, I review it. I’m not going to sit there like a lot of folks and just gush about “oh this is so awesome it’s amazing wow it’s an RC, how awesome is that.” I’ve owned about 120 hobby-class RCs so far and about 150 toy-class ones, and can tell the difference between an unavoidable little nuisance and a noteworthy design flaw. I like to let people know both the good *and* the bad as I see it rather than being a talking advertisement.

This guy is too damn picky about his vehicles.

  8. ballhawk210 says:

    wats better 2wd or 4wd

I intend to get a brushless motor. However,I see different motor like 5.5T or 32T.What are the difference between the T?Does it determine the speed or anything?Which will be better?Higher T or lower T?

man ive had my velineon brushless system for 2 and a half years and the only thing ive had to do to it soo far is im jus now replacing the motor bearing and NEVER had a problem and yes i drive it at my house and pretty mmuch every weekend at my local track

  11. slashbasher96 says:

i have the rubber bearings on my slash 2wd and they havent rusted or ceased up. Are they the same bearings?

  12. MotoTechTips says:

hi, i am looking to get a shortcourse rc.. i have a traxxas revo 2.5r….could you please make a video review for the HPI Blitz, just like you did for the slash. I would appreciate it so much…thanks

  13. UltimateRCnetwork says:

@submarinefreak Well in the first one I was specifically saying that if the Slash 4×4 is what you want more than anything, don’t let anything I say stop you. It’s not a “bad” truck at all. Even with the flaws I’ve pointed out, for a basher truck, in its class, there’s nothing that can compare with it. So again, if you really really want it, I would suggest you get it, but just keep in mind some of the things I pointed out about maintenance.

  14. submarinefreak says:

    hello,
i am thinking of getting a slash 4×4 and i watched youreview and that was verry helpful.
    but i have one question:
in the first vid you say “just get one” but your all negative in the second…
so should i get one or not?? (i am a basher btw)

    thanks!

  15. shadowfax123456 says:

would about the redcat aftershock is that good

  16. UltimateRCnetwork says:

@keeton520 Oh wow, an even heavier vehicle than the Slash 4×4? No I would never suggest putting a single 540-sized motor in there at over 2S.

  17. keeton520 says:

@UltimateRCnetwork i want it in my e savage with a mamba max pro esc and two 2cell lipos

  18. UltimateRCnetwork says:

@jasetheace96 Check out my race setup post, stickied at the top of the Slash 4×4 forum at Ultimate RC.

  19. UltimateRCnetwork says:

@keeton520 The motor can, but it’s definitely not recommended in the heavy 4×4. 4S on a Velineon should be used for onroad speed runs in 2WD vehicles only. Also, the stock ESC is for 3S and below only.

  20. jasetheace96 says:

hello what holes are your shocks positioned and do you use spacers?
    thanks

  21. keeton520 says:

can the traxxas motor handle a 4cell?

  22. WESCOM24 says:

I noticed you said that the stock tires aren’t really that good. I have a normal 2wd slash that I just use for casual everyday use for fun. What tires would you recommend for a beginner like me to upgrade to?

  23. Xmoto16 says:

Hey Jang im still kinda confused cause u have a gravel pit and a strip of brand new closed off street like two blocks away from me and i like speed cause my friend has a slash 2wd vxl and rpm parts 2.4ghz the whole deal. Should i get this or something else.

  24. pieman12345678987654 says:

whats with the long antenna? 2.4 ghz has short antenna right?

  25. THENAGY13 says:

should i get a rtr blitz. im going to bash hard, so think ill stick to the blitz.
