Hi Jeng, I finally got it! I actually got an ultimate 4×4 roller, and mounted the Tacon you reviewed, and it’s smokeing fast, yet very controllable. For the steering, I’ve decided to mount an Ace DS1313, but it didn’t turn out to be the best of choices, as it does have a lot of torque, but not much speed even at 6 V. I’m looking at a Futaba BLS 451 as an option, I’m curious to know what servo you are running with.
@pieman12345678987654 Thanks, I think it took about 3 hours to edit.
wow. amazing. how long did this take to edit? I see you have cameras all over and editing all the footage into 1 clip in the right order. must have took FOREVER!
thats a sikk track were is that
@hondazaynefun Stock gearing seemed perfect in moderately cool weather on 2S LiPo. I’d probably go down a tooth or two in the summer, or add a heat sink with a fan on the motor. Stock handling is, eh, so-so at best. I really, really don’t like the stock springs. I talk about that in detail in my two review videos.
@UltimateRCnetwork ok, does it overheat alot with stock gearing on the track? does it handle pretty good stock?
@hondazaynefun Definitely not. Linear springs are the way to go.
do you think it could benifit from prolines dual rate shocks?
Looks like a good track… last time I went to my track the dirt was so dry it was cracking. there was a huge crack going down the main stretch. it was impossible to get any traction.
