1:40 Vetical Takedown!!!!!
I thought that the traxxas 4×4 platinum edition didnt come out untill the end of september? If it does then i would like to know how you got it at a store? thanks
@FAJT61969 platinum is also a 4×4. it just has a clear body
@TheTalalas Yes they have a waterproof receiver box and waterproof esc.
are the platinums waterproof like the plain 4x4s?
@SoDaPoPbMx slower, more expensive, more maintenence
How come nobody runs nitro Anymore?
So what is special about the platinum edition VS. the regular 4X4?
@FAJT61969 The platinum edition has not alloy shocks, just big bore so they will be more durable but works same than stock, so a better shocks will cost you a plus, the platinum tyres are a bit better but not like aftermarket parts you can find, if you have your own radio and batteries maybe is a good choice
@FAJT61969 I really cant say what you should get,you have to weigh the options between the two trucks and decide on your own. For me.. i already had lipos and a decent radio so i went with the platinum edition. The aluminum parts and especially the shocks were well worth it for me over the rtr version.
@3DHobbyShopRocks should i get platinum or 4×4
@FAJT61969 The new slash 4×4 ultimate comes with a painted body.
do all of the platinum editions come unpainted? that is cool
@rene257 Proline bowties and changed the front shock position.
What were the modifications you made for the 2nd half of the video?i thought i heard you say tires and schoks? what exactly did you do or what type of tires did you switch too? thanks
Great
what class do you race your E-revo in?
I dont make it to the track very often but the slash spec class(stock 2wd) has always been the largest class on electric days, the slash 4×4 just came out when i made the video and a few 4×4 slash’s showed up at the track that day. they also have a open short course class for all short course trucks. Best bet is to call them and ask but the original slash still probally has the largest turn out for racing. $10.00 for practice.
@3dhobbyshop – Im about to buy a slash, does LH run more 2×4 or 4×4 stock slash races?
also how much does it cost to practice out there? its about an hour drive each way for me.
Thanks bud!
ya i know but there alot of money
12*Is too cold? shit we are wearing T-shirts if it gets that nice in ND… I run my E-maxx at -30* all the time
@STUNTINrockstar just get erevo n slash4x4
Stuntinrockstar definentley get the erevo it will kick the slashes ass upsidedown and sideways
sont get the venom batteries there terrible. and for a charger get the Onyx 230. chargees LiPos and NiMh
dont get venom batteries they suck balls
@pandukka No it shouldn’t. Go for it!
hi,i have a traxxas slash 4×4 brushless,and my stock batt is NImh 8.4v,3000 mah..im thinking of buying a 11.1v 5000mah lipo battery
is that ok for the motor?or it wont damage my esc? tnx!
Awesome driving. Too bad ive bought an 8th Scale Nitro Truggy for 570€ ;p
Those things are nice for driving around.
The front and rear diffs are not locked, these come with a slipper clutch in the center but the slash 4×4 pe comes with a extra fluid center diff and the stock slipper installed.
locked diffs??
strong trucks
No problem, the slash 4×4 ultimate is a rtr with painted body and the platinum edition upgrades and battery and charger.
@3DHobbyShopRocks XD sorry i confused the platinum with the ultimate….sorry
@charlie1989adamski The the slash 4×4 rtr’s like in the video come with painted bodys. The slash platinum edition comes with the same body but its clear and you paint it yourself.
this painted body will be in the platinum edition, true?
Yes both trucks are 4wd,I ended up getting a slash 4×4 platinum edition.. i’ll have more videos of mine and other slash 4x4s when i can make it to the track again.
is the silver truck a 4×4 as well? or just the reg 2wd?
Oh really?
they are barley even hitting the throtel but go traxxas
You’re right…it is shit
@krookedKiller13 true. they look as if they will easily flip if your turn them too hard. was wondering if i should get the vorza from hpi or this 4×4 slash. leaning towards the vorza after seeing this video
that is some non driving sons of bitches lol..
i have savage xl that shtt would run over the hole track
get a job then
i know u sed u need to see it but if it helps i was racing my slash 4×4 (1/10) in a parking lot and it handles great. as long you give it more throttle going fast into a turn or else ull flip.
The gears wouldn’t strip if the slipper clutch is adjusted properly…
if it wasnt for the par its $400 i would get one. but its about $100 to much for a rc car for me.
Yeah, they don’t really look like they’d handle all too great. I still need to see one in person though.
@manuel5845 lol there is just one version and yes, its brushless. You can use the plug what you want if you know how to solder it, I dont recommend using tamiya plugs nevermore, they are old and have crap powerflow so could overheat the battery
The Tamiya connector would melt with the amps it will draw. Tamiya plugs need to be cut off and burnt.
