just got this yesterday. its fast! even with stock battery. definatley will get better charger and a 2s lipo. would recomed to enybody!
@TheRcracer1204 he is running a 7.4v lipo wich is basically the same as a 8.4v nimh
@THENAGY13 Check out my two-part review video.
is it a good bashing truck?
due it comes stock with a 8,4 volt series 3 7cell
@UltimateRCnetwork i agree stock tires are horrible im going to get the proline bow tie tires on split six wheels
@AwesomeAlex95 go test it out i think it says 40+ mph
How fast do you think this goes out of the box??…just bought one today (my first rc car)
What do u recommend platinmun or stock?
wait a minute, 7.4v battery is it not 8.4V battery ????
Great job.
Make more slash videos.
thats how you run one of these!excellent driving. watched many videos they always crash on the jumps.
That was awsome considering you were filming while driving. There are alot of poor vids out there, but this was fun to watch.
Not sure if I should be asking about your driving talent, or filming talent. Thanks for the entertainment.
thats an awesome track!
well to make it handel a lot better move the rear shoks in on the top and out all the way on the bottom remove the the thin shock spacer and it will sit corectly and land planted ohh and put the battery foam in the rear of battery comartment
Gears are in perfect condition, it’s just that the pinion & spur are 32P & 0.8mod so this truck always sounds loud. The poor traction is from the stock tires. They suck horrifically.
it sounded like the gears were a little striped and i noticed that u kept sliding alot was it because the track or the tires
for this track the 8.4v nimh battery will do a better job.
(more top speed then the lipo 2s)
Nice vid! Looking at the near asphalt track, do you think this truck could be also a good on-road racer with flat tires? I mean not for competitions in a on-road class, but only for fun with other slashes.
I was definitely going easy on it. For one thing it’s tough to follow the truck with the camera while driving around a track, and for two, much harder and I’d have been off-track even more frequently. The truck pushes quite a lot with the stock setup, plus the stock tires are very, very slippery.
i cant really tell if you were hard on the throttle or not cause it seem as if you were going kinda slow…. were going with alot of throttle or not
you did a real good job filming while driving man
others is shitty ,. i would of never known if u didnt write it
cant wait to get my slash 4×4
@jhheli it’s one of the best trucks i have ever drove and the only reason it rebounds like that is because they have the shocks jacked up so much cause mine lands pretty smooth and doesn’t bounce even after hard landings
Only down fall to this truck as I have watched alot of video’s, seems to be the tires are not the greatest for traction, and the rear suspension has alot of rebound on landings where the back end jumps up. Other than that which are both easy fixes, this seems like a great truck.!
Great video. I want one! Nor cal hobbies is in Union City CA
