just to keep the front end down really, with 9 nimh cells it wasnt too bad but with the 3s its a lot lighter. Im afraid the rustler is now sold, I have moved on to an LRP blast, same VXL 3s setup, just 4wd.

What was the point when you thought of it? My first thing is to protect the motor more. It sounds like you were going for handling.

Yes handling is better, main thing was to reduce wheelies under acceleration.
