I recommend sealing the carb and using high temp thread seal on the carb needles before starting it for the first time. I used Permatex Copper RTV gasket maker to seal the carb to the crankcase and Permatex High Temp Thread sealer on the carb needles. You can get both at an auto parts store.

It’s running better than when this vid was shot. It’s tuned much better. I have converted it to a street truck wit HPI Phaltline tires and 20/34 gearing. Even with the tall gearing, it can still break all 4 tires loose. Stock gearing is 15/38, so the truck should be topping out around 60+mph now. It’s a blast to drive!

which pipe did you get? the hard-coated, performance or the mirror polished one?
Yeah, it is louder and it sounds meaner. It definitely improves performance, on the low end and the top end.
is the ths pipe much louder than the stock pipe? and does it give any noticable performance boost?
the revo’s gearing? weird? savage is the same (nearly.. i think the stock is a 48) I thought it was only electric tourers that run massive 80+ tooth spurs like that…

I’m really happy with my picco .26! I have it tuned better since I made this video. It starts to make peak power around the third gallon. At the time of this video, I was using the stock tires with 16/38 gearing. I now have a set of HPI Tremor wheels with Phaltline street tires and 17/34 gearing. It still accelerates like crazy, so I’m going to go to 19/34 or possibly 20/34 gearing, which should give me top speeds that are close to the Jato 3.3.

@2glittergirls21 ya their pretty good…but they get real old if your more in to jumping/bashing and also the diff case is were the brake pads screw into and that keeps stripping…so just be aware of other options and make sure you get the right rc for you

revo’s are easy to get off the ground… but very hard to bring it back down. the 3.3 makes it hard to jump because every move you make with the throttle it pushes the front up vise versa
