Traxxas R/C Models – E-Revo Brushless Edition

Equipped with Castle Creation’s Mamba Monster Brushless System Up to 25.2 Volts of Massive Brushless Power Includes New Traxxas TQ 2.4GHz Radio System with 4-Channel Micro Receiver State-of-the-Art Integrated Chassis Design Hard-Anodized Teflon®-Coated Aluminum Shocks Top Speed: 50+mph on 6S Power! Built For Brushless We built the E-Revo for 6S brushless power right from the start. For other companies, brushless ready means just making some nominal provisions for battery and motor installation and letting the aftermarket develop the upgrades necessary to make it survive. Not Traxxas. We heard the call for more power so E-Revo was tested tough for durability with brutal 6S LiPo power and intense custom wound brushless motors. For the uninitiated, this extreme 50+mph motor and battery combination is ordinarily a predictable recipe for a box full of twisted and mangled parts. Not so with the E-Revo Brushless Edition. E-Revos driveline has been engineered to endure the kind of horsepower and punishment thats possible with todays motor and battery technology. It looks factory because it is factory, complete with a separate motor plate for clean, low-slung single motor installation. Castle Creations Mamba Monster Brushless System Built specifically to handle the rigors of large, power-hungry trucks, the Mamba Monster speed control is ready for 6S LiPo power with its massive 6.5mm gold-plated connectors, high-efficiency heatsink, integrated cooling fan and heavy-duty components

I have a problem with my E Revo. I changed the batteries in my 2.4ghz remote. Then when i turned everything on the truck kept trying to take off so I turned it off. I tried resetting the evx2 but that didn’t work either. I took it outside and tried cause I thought maybe it was picking up signals but no luck. BTW it is the E Revo with the titan motors.

  8. RM250D8rzr says:

so is the e revo better in every way than the flux? apart from durablity. i can live with that. but you can make the erevo go as fast as the flux. but the revo will be on all 4s or 2′s at leased compared to the flux witch will be flipping over all the time cuz the handeling sucks on it compared the the revo

If they came from the same box, they should work. I’m not sure what it could be. I’ve been using a Futaba for a while and haven’t used the stock Traxxas stuff in a while.

Also in my post above I recommended that people new to RC start out slow with NIMH packs. If you get the E-Revo Brushless, you should get Lipo battery packs and start out careful. NIMH packs may do something weird and damage the Mamba Monster ESC that comes with the Brushless E-Revo.

  18. kevin1032v says:

is it cheaper to buy the bl eedition or to just buy the stock and put the mamba in can anyone plz tell me and could u please tell me how much more or less

If you’re a beginner and are willing to learn how to do RC maintenance, go for it. Get the E-Revo Brushless. But start with slow. If it takes NIMH packs, start with a pair of 6 or 7 cell NIMH packs. I don’t mean to put anyone down by saying start out slow. Believe me. I have a Savage Flux and a pair of 7cell NIMH packs has my hands full for now. Drive it like crazy and when you’re over it, get the Lipo’s and develop the control. Not just coordination, but driving mindset. It’s a fun hobby!

Just got one of these. Running 2x 2S lipo power cause the hobby store ran out of 3S lipo packs. Still runs NUTS!!! Can’t wait to upgrade to full power. Highly recommend this car. Blows away .21 1:8 scale nitro buggys with ease. ;-)
