Traxxas Nitro Stampede vs. RC 10 Electric Part I
Hi, this is my nitro stampede that I went from my pro .15 to a 3.3, it took me about 45 minutes to swap the engine over. I have a custom tuned pipe that uses two bicycle buge horns that I cut and soldered together. It works great, after all the stuff that Car Action stated about the best design for a tuned pipe, I went from a CVEC pipe to this custom pipe, and besides the tuning, this design works better and has more torque, and hp. The midrange and upper power is great, hear it scream?

I would choose nitro over electric-the modern brushless systems may be a touch faster-but its almost not usable-Also-the nitro-you can tear it apart massage the parts a little re-assemble-and actually see a good improvement!-for me-theres more to a hobby than just speed-
very nice truck. only dwn side is it has a small engine so it has trouble in thick grass.
they are a very good rc. especially for a starter rc truck. ive had my stampede for almost 10 years now. ive tried many motors and the pro .15 is damn near indestructible, my original engine ran for about 5 years with near constant use. and if you want a FAST cheap engine buy a dynamite mach .15 like in the xxx nitro. right tune, wheelie at ANY speed and really fast.
that sucks for you guys lol…a gallon where i live sells for $40 and 33 % nitro. $11.50 for quart of 20%

No one bothers to go to the field without more than one battery any more than you will go with only one tank of gas.

Cost about 50 bux for 20% I believe the price varies depending of the Nitro %. Just a couple of bucks.

You hear that nitro, lets the neighbors know you’re having fun haha. I like nitro more but tuning sucks. Electric is fun Until you have to go home and charge. The both have their ups and downs, but for me its Nitro over electric. Yeah brushless is faster but when you have no more charged battery’s on hand, a nitro is a hell of a lot faster!

how fast is your car? I have seen vids for rc10′s and other similar cars powered by Mamba max motors and the cars are very fast. I would like to know how the Reedy motors compare. thanks
5-10 minutes depends on the car engine tank fuel line setup

my rc10b4 could take that nitro easy i got a brushless reedy neo one system and at my local track they dont run mod buggys so i run with the nitros it dont always come out alive but i finish pretty decent oh and that looked like a t4
what kind of car is the electrick
It does sometimes when you drive it crazy, but It doesn’t very often. I only got my roll cage for $22 since it looked cool and would protect this new engine.

if you want to get alot of speed out of it i recommend 24/64 gearing
check out my 3.3 stampede on my channel
i had 22/64 gearing in mine and changed to 24/64 gearing and it is even faster now

hey if you drop a 5 cell in there your truck is going to glitch
my 2.5 nitro sport did the same thing
flew in to a curb at 45mph when it was only 25feet away

Nice.. I like the modifications you made… It must sound awesome when you start it up. I’m planing on upgrading my .15 to a 3.3 soon and I’ll make videos on how my stampede looks like.
You can put the 5 cell pack in the back stock position, or anywhere you want to, u just have to make sure its held down by something, and can take punishment. Because mine would fly off, so you just have to make sure its tight, I want to make mine a 5 cell too, but soon, too lazy right now.
