tru that bro. i dont need fansy equitment to have fun with my rustler…. sometimes the 2.5 is hard to tune but its a fun truck no matter what. i also fly the airplanes and the guys at AMA say its ok to drive there too. YAY! lol
that sucks. i have a nitro rustler but with a difforent pinion gear. its slower accel but goes 65 now. in this vid he have a smaller pinon gear… better accel. his moter is tuned PERFECTLY. i need some tips on tuning so that i get consistant good accel and speed.
i just broke my right rim to day it sucks now i have to wait a while
dont worry its working now but it was really hard to tune and dident start.

honestly guys how old are you, your fighting over whos rustler is faster grow up it doesnt matter we all enjoy the hobby of rc and we should all get along the nitro rustler needs no hopups to make it good it just is
i have a traxxas jato 3.3 its very looked like with the rustler but its a 3.3 i even perform donuts on the hasphalt with my car:P

the nitro rustler cost me about $380.its very reliable car,my dad clocked me out at 53 mph while he was driving behind it, sadly i crashed and the only thing i broke was my rear shock tower (a 5 dollar fix)
how much was this car. i saw one at my local hobby shop for 300 american without tax. would this be worth buying is it relyable?how fast does yours go?
your truck would have more kick if you were to use an xtm .18 conversion ket and use their .18 engine. it runs cooler than the trx. 2.5 and it has more raw power. the top end is only a little better but the torque is WAY better. the conversion kit also comes with an aluminum tuned pipe for even more kick. another good upgrade would be to put some pro-line tires on it. hope this tip helps.
DUDE IS THAT STOCK. I have a nitro rustler and mine could kick your butt, i have a new chassie a new 75 dollar pipe new whells and a whole bunch more. YOU REALLY NEED UPGRADES ON YOU NITRO RUSTLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ya i lernt the hard way i got a jato 3.3 and right after break in i hit a phone pull and the car was useless i have rebilt most of it i still need a new motor and tranbut other than that its a good car and iv also got a new revo 3.3 and i havent broken anything

@savboss916 i can tell you it goes 50+. However i have never heard of an XL-5 level 5? Are you looking to convert, or is it your first car?
is the rustler nitro faster than the rustler xl5 with an up gradeable speed control and motor that goes 75mph plus. and by upgradeable i mean the xl5 level 5
