I tried the truck out on some dirt and was happy with handling characteristics. The suspension soaked up most of the bumps except for the big ruts and 40-50mph speeds. I was surprised at how well the revo stays on it’s feet while traveling at extremely fast speeds. @BenjaminDiscoMan Parallel is for extra runtime, Series is for speed. speed works on how many RPM the motor can put out, and motor RPM is affected by voltage. the more volts you can throw at it the faster it’ll go.
@leonardolandivarbaro the battery boxes cannot take a 7 cell pack. However they can take 3S LiPo packs. run two of them in series and prepare to crap your pants at the speed!

I got the constant velocity drive shafts but they didnt come with an instruction manual. I opened the package And there was NO IM! Ive bought many more upgrade packs And they all came with instruction manuals. So do you know where I can find a video or a diagram of how to perform this upgrade?

@leonardolandivarbaro you probably can. people run these on 4s lipos so it should be able to handle some slightly larger nimh packs. it will probably get quite hot due to the extra weight and voltage though.
i got 2 batteris only for saving time so now i can drive about 20-25 min

BenjaminDiscoMan : 2 stock batterys in parallel will not increase speed and it will be like running full speed (stock that is.) for about x2time depending on how hard u hammer the throttle
The “quicker” pinion pinion gear WILL make u go significantly faster. 
BTW batts in seiries increase speed.:D
If I put two stock batteries on with parallel and the quicker pinion gear, would it make it any faster? Or do you need series connecter to increase speed?
@douhnutz I think u can only put 2 2s or 3s’s in there on parallel. bcause parallel doubles the runtime while series doubles the voltage
i have one double black springs in the rear and double tan in the front with 40W shock oil is perfect for offroad jumping and racing
i have this with the brushless and 2,4ghz radio.
its a frigging beast EVEN with the stock battery, just lacks run time

with the slash, the main problems with getting it up to high speed are that the suspension isnt stiff enough and that the big gap inside makes an air pocket so it just catches air & flips up.
i thought the vxl esc’s couldnt handle more than 3S

@cnewson0809 dude ,his is nothing to talk about, change your tires ,go a bit larger ,,and pop in 2 ,,3 cell 2000 ,,,30c lipos and change the esc to a hobby king 60 A programmable and you will rock the cement big time.
