Cool, I’m into helis myself but lately I’ve been building model kits and watching your videos.
I used to mod and race them in weekly competitions. Great fun. This kit was available new for about £50 in my day. When Jr. is old enough, it will be the perfect excuse for me to get back into it again.
@2Old4Toys I never knew you were into RC, I thought you only liked Gunpla and other static models.
The ball diff is a soon to be released option. An orginal would set you back around $1300.00 so the re release isnt that expensive.
Nostalgic? Iconic? yes x 2. It was also quite entirely sh!t at going round corners. I wonder if this re-release has any enhancements like a differential. Doubt it though. The asking price for this thing is hilarious BTW! One for the oldies who want to recapture their childhood memories.

@alishanmao Hey ali, is the Redcat tornado SV the same as the S30? Is the S30 just the canadian version of it or what?
@YoshiMan246 if gear mesh is ok, you do not have to do it
@YoshiMan246 make sure the carb opening gap is 1mm, set the LSN by doing the pinch test. and then tune it from there. You can watch my videos on these topics

Went to break in my tornado s30,
In the manual it says wheels should not spin!
well when i pick myne up off the ground it goes way fast and revs high!
The idle screw does not help at all i turned it both ways and it did not do a thing!
what is wrong? Please tell me!
I love it man but not if it came broke, Why doesn’t the idle screw work? or is that not the problem?
Just bought 2 tornado s30′s, Need help, Step 2 in the manual adjust gear mesh, is that really neccisary? Sounds real hard cause they say un screw the bottom bolts and move something idk man, just confusing,

@Sandeep9201 if tuning is wrong glow plugs go bad during breaking in, but if you do it right, same glow plug will go on till you bash it for many days

hi just wanted to ask when breaking in the new engine on the tornado s30, do you have to use 2-3 glow plugs to just break it in because i herd when you break in a nitro engine you go thrue a lot of glo plugs, Is this true? and are there any other things i should be aware about that will stop me from driving it during and after the break in process?

how is the overall quality on the tornado and is it easy to tune??? someone help me out i wanna buy one but my first experience with the revo 3.3 wasent so good when it came to tuneing, HELP

@explorer19997 Tornado S30 has better engine, and 2 speed transmission.
is this the saMES AS THE TORNADO S30… I GOT MINE THE OTHER THEY CAN YOU DO A DEMO SO I CAN TUNE MY ENGINE AND ALSO HOW CAN I STOP THE WHEELS I TURN THE CAR AND THE WHEEL START SPINIG SO FAST IT ALSO POP OUT THE GLOW PLUG.
