The car looks to run great from what i see here, but reading ur updates makes me glad i went with an LRP spec 3 instead of the STS. It was a hard decision to make…especially after seeing the STS dyno around 1.6hp, which i think is decent for the cost.

yea definately go with the higher quality engines. I mean i after run it and all that and took care of it and broke it in right n stuff so, i dont know. I know one thing tho. U can bet that i aint bout to buy another one of them pieces of shit again.
See I knew those STS chinaengines were cheap junk. And you broke it in by the book too. I guess it is worth paying the extra cash for O.S., Picco, even Ofna. Though I wouldn’t go as high as RB/Nova, just not worth it.
it was cool for about 2 gallons then it just started trippin. One of the bearings went and it didnt feel likein messin wit it so i just threw it away. Dont know if it was sumthn i did or not but i have heard of many other people having the same problems with the gen2 versions. So i got a jammin/picco .28 :}

the sts .30 ‘s come way over shimmed from the factory so that people wont break their pullstarters while breakin them in. It comes overshimmed even for 30 percent so after breakin is done its recommended to shim it accordingly to how much percent nitro u use. I took that piece of s**t motor out and got a jammin/picco .28 truggy engine in now. Should have videos in a couple weeks.
why would you remove head shim? are you planning on changing nitro %?

geesh, with the extra cost of the engine compared to an axial, and the 3/4 gallon breakin, it’s just not worth it.

i would recommend you to change the servo. The originale servo isn´t strong enough to break the weight of the revo.
i own a revo 3.3 as well and my brakes dont work well is that just how they are or can i upgrade/change them??
the revo comes with opsional springs an rokers to make them more and you could also get stifers shock oil so you can make revo mor stif and thats wut i did chack my vids just clik my chanale ty hope this helps
