@DaMadMonkey05 yep, dirt bikes have air filters too. But tiny bits of sand get sucked through the filter and fuck the valves and bore. People put a stocking over the filter!

@DaMadMonkey05 Well the way I see a huge advantage is the gas might be cheaper. But that’s a big might because I haven’t had a gas powered rc in 6 years lol.
@legitimatemind hard to say really. yes the engines last longer and are more user friendly. the cars are bigger, so easier to work on. but more expensive, less nimble, you need larger areas to run them. its a personal preference i think. i have both, because different moods call for different toys haha

Yea the air cleaner can only filter out so much and I’m not only talking about that the bearings sand gets everwhere. I have a quad and when I went to change my tires off my rims I found sand in th inside of my tire Wich is a air tight explain that.
