What springs in them?
Crawling = boring!
for the wheels make a lead weight band around both front rims, and then drill 2-4 3/8 in holes through the rim so that it snt a balloon. also you can get the ckrc mounts and their split battery.lipos are good, but the technology is under developed and they have been known to explode. they also arent as heavy as ni cd batteries so i would do nicd. advice for li po users,charge them in lipo bags inside heavyclaypots if you value your home, and neverrun them completely outof battery ifuvalueurcar

yea i trimmed lots of them just about 50% remaining, but you need to check to see if it feels good on your terrain
do you need to trim memory foams the width ??
I was wondering if anyone knew if you should cut the width of memory foams ????

thanks man, im thinking as a christmas gift to get one similar to this, one question though, should i get an electric one or spring for a nitro? I kinda would like an electric considering its fun to do around people and can run indoors. Was just wondering performance wise if nitro was the way to go.
In this video, I’m running NWTT foams(over sized Prolines now) with 6 oz. in each front and 3 oz. in each rear. It has four link. Still running the Panthers. It has a Novak 55 w/Rooster Crawler ESC. There is no dig in this video but it has one now. It had custom links on it courtesy of Beenrudy…got custom delrin links on it now. Finished 3rd overall in ’08 and 2nd in ’09….go shafty! you have almost no tork twist, do you have a four link, because i have tried many set ups with my three link and i fined tractions is never the problem when im climbing its the tork twist

Nar rock crawlers need slower motors with lost of torque and power its no about speed.
it wouldnt be so boring if you put a 7 turn motor in one it would be awesomely fast and stil have brilliant crawling capeablitites if you but it on a small pinion and big spur and gave it a really powerful lipo but none the les i do like rock crawlers as they are i just hink they could be faster
