Not to be rude, but I think your calculations are a little off. To begin with, “current” is measured in Amperes, not watts. To know the wattage being “drawn” is 0.10 watts, you make the assumption you know both the amperage and voltage… W=A(V). Many different variables come into play to just generalize that 10 leds draw 0.10 volts. To your point though, no, 10 led’s are not sucking the battery packs dry… but why add to an already parasitic setup if you don’t have to.
In the beginning of this video you express concern on the extra power the leds on the truck pull from the batteries. Do you realize how little current an led draws? The 10 leds on the the truck for example draw 0.10 watts. Which means with the stock 3000mah batteries you could power the leds for well over 30 hours. I doubt that is cutting into your runtime. Nice job on the setup though!

Google “2 channel remote”. There are many to choose from. Basic design. Just like a car alarm. 25-40 bucks on avg.
What type of keyless remote did you purchase to wire this up with? Looks very useful.
