Check out Squirrels forum! forums.thetoyz.com This video is on how to remove tires from rims by de-bonding the CA glue. I show two methods in this video. The first is the boiling method where you bring a pot of water to a full boil, place the entire in the pot and let it sit for 5 to 10…

If you have chrome wheels, will either method make the chrome peel, or fade?

@joseimport Ive never had an issue with baking.

  8. joseimport says:

ok , if i bake them, the foam inserts wont get damaged, aren´t those inserts like stirofoam, so its a NO NO for heat? i did not watch your video on glueing tires, and one of my brand new proline crimefighters, is really wobbly i need to remove it and reattach them, but use the same tire, wheel and foam, i want to make sure i wont damage them.

Great Video. I didn’t even know about these two methods of removing tires from rims. I had only been told to soak my old tires in accetone in order to be able to remove the tire from the rim, and reuse the rim with a new set of tires. But I never tried it because I live in an appartment and i’m not interested in a bucket of accetone sitting around. thank you for this video!
