hi mate, any aftermarket big bore shocks you would recommend for my hyper 7?
the standard shocks are ok, but reckon they wont last long with the hard jumps and landings i do. ive got a tendancy of bending shock shafts on standard shocks, did on my t-maxx 2.5 and again on my schumacher riot, can see it happening on my hyper 7, thanks
hi squirell, im preparing to start racing with my hyper 7, have a picco p3R engine ready to dump in there to perform well, but as i dont know the basics of racing and the need of downforce and centre of gravity etc. what rideheight do you recommend for racing? obviously i can play about with different heights so i can see what i prefer but i need a guideline for a starter, thanks
hey man I like your vids I got a Slayer. I know its not everyones favorite nitro truck. I also know that the stock suspension is not made for on road, because it will body roll alot. I’ve realized that through this vid that I need stiffer springs, because I typically do not jump alot with it, I don’t really need the articulation that it makes either. thanks for the help.
or could i just put a shitload of spacers all the way around, keep the stock springs and adjust it like that?
hey squirrel, i want new springs for my rusty to lift it higher off the ground but will be keeping the same shocks, what color and length springs do you suggest?

Hey..like your stuff. One question. I WAS about to plop down 6 bones for a E Maxx BL when I discovered the Savage ( I am just getting into the RC world) The Savage looks very impressive. I will do no racing but some heavy bashing. Just bought a E Revo VXL. Love it but it breaks too much and is too chaotic at high speeds. Which do you recommend…Savage Flux or Maxx BL? I want more durability, extreme power, and upgradable without killing my wallet. Whatever you or anybody can suggest.

Get a motor saver air filter.
Aluminum bends, especially on aluminum to aluminum, where plastic bends. It is smarter to upgrade high wear points but not all alum.
could you make a video on how you hang those RC’s on your wall or does anyone know?
wich upgrades from plastic to alloy will be better performane wise like is a capped air filter better performance?

I got it a year ago. Gave the engine to a guy to mod and it took 6 months to get back and missed the time to run it. It has since sat in a case and I discovered it again.
IT will be a future project that will be coming at the end of the year
