RC Pro Series Rd 1 North Div Truggy ( Arena Truck) A-Main 2009

( Arena Truck) Truggy A-Main

Check out Squirrels forum! forums.thetoyz.com This video will show you the theory on how to turn. The counter clock wise (CCW) and clock wise (CW) movements of the hsn (high speed needle) and low speed needle (LSN) and how they affect the kits speed and power over all. This will show you the theory of fine tuning either from the amount of smoke out of the pipe to increased speed an the amount of power off the starting line. The next video will show you the actual tuning of the engines over theory. This is a ten video rc nitro break in series. The series is designed on how to guide the novice to experienced racing pro or basher on how to break in a nitro rc properly. I will teach the traxxas, new school, and my own method which is a combination of the other two. I will show the user how to prime a nitro rc engine, start the engine using a bump start box, ex starter, roto start, pull start and tiger drive devices. Then, after break in, I will go over nitro engine tuning theory and then show the tuning actally done. 15. soverato3 says:

ok tnx for the info (unique ???) it an normal os engine with a sleeve made of a plating with the name (i dont know it begins with an C but not chrome) and it wasnt to expencive os has more engine like this just start it and run first 3 tanks rich and not to fast
    cheers

  16. Squirrelod says:

@soverato3 You will not be doing a break in for a full gallon, but for the first gallon of use, the engine will be getting stronger. Some are fully broken in after 5, some are 10, some are a gallon. It will vary from engine to engine. It is why it is best to know and understand your unique engine and also ensure that it is done right.

  17. soverato3 says:

a full gallon!!! wow i always run 5 tanks of break in and after that i start tuning it an bashing it 1 gallon is crazy engine an enigne whit overcompression takes shorter maybe 1liter (a gallon is 5liter right?) there is not much to break in bearing are made verry presice only the piston and sleeve are a lill. bit tight i even have an os engine thats didnt need a break in so presice it was made they thould my it was made at a 0.0001mm accrurate
    kind regards =3

  18. Squirrelod says:

@soverato3 Id rather drive the kit to see the engine and how it performs. Some engines take a full gallon to be fully broken in. I want to see the engine get stronger after each tank, be able to see how it does and handles, and get used to how it sounds. The first 7 tanks are critical to learning.

  19. soverato3 says:

did you ever heard about an “dry” break in ?? they put the engine on a electric low reveling motor heat the cooling fins to the wanted temp and drip each 2mins a drip of oil in the carb. and glow plug hole. its cheaper (no fuel needed) you can do it more accurate (change temp, rpm, ect) but before i going to break in an engine at that way i wonna ask your opinion about the concept?? pleace response.. tnx:)

  20. jipje44 says:

hello whats does break in mean? like what is it purpose?

  21. lethallee77 says:

    hi Squirrelod
prob a silly Q in previous vidz you said to break in at 200 degrees is that C or F?

  22. TheSalvadorSaldana says:

what should be the first upgrades for a nitro truggy

  23. Squirrelod says:

@DEADMETAL23 You would want to lean the HSN.

  24. DEADMETAL23 says:

my nitro’s exhaust has a lot of smoke coming out and almost “spits” fuel and when i pinch my fuel line my engine revs up a shitload before turning off, that means i gotta turn the low speed needle counter clockwise right? also my car dies out when i remove the glow igniter after i turn on the car, glow plug is burned out? please help a noob out?

  25. 1sjirk1 says:

@dolphinsfans00777 not needeble, as you want!

  26. Tunerboii2045 says:

ive struck a problem….iv brought my first container of raceing fuel NitroX and it only runs %10 oil and its %25 nitro and i dont know if its lean or rich because close to no smoke comes out of the exhaust and according too the guy i brought it off and he uses it and races its fine and it picks up so quick i dont want it too kill its self….any advice?

  27. anish4 says:

so, can i break-in my nitro car off road, on a flat grass field, as i do not have enough tarmac/concrete in my area?

  28. storytiedie says:

how often should u tune your car? and how do i find my speed pin dial stock settings?

  29. dug44ful says:

And he says “i’m not a pro!” rc guru!! Your awesome!!!

  30. djhawk2530 says:

if you have half a tank of gas and you run your truck till your tank is empty and then pinch your fuel line and smoke is coming from your engine, what do you do?

  31. RustyNailz48 says:
