ok thnk u, n i signed up on ur sight.. it looks like a kool forum sight.. should any air escape from the gas cap? if no how can i fix it? im getting gas leaking out from the gas cap… srry 4 too mny questions. like i said im new @ this..
@RCNITROLUVR Add a loop in your fuel line for it to sustain idle while on its back and blip the throttle every now and then to ensure that you are getting enough fuel in. If your kit has to cool before it can be started again then it could be a sign of age. As long as your engine has compression then it is just aging. When you loose compression you will need a rebuild.

HEY squirrelod, WOW thnk u 4 the response.. now would u know why when i start car n drive it, and when it i jump it n it lands upside dwn it shuts off then i try to start it again it wont start? n its not flooded, i have to wait awhile then it starts. or if it stalls it wont start up again right away.. i seen alot of videos where they crash there cars n they can start them up again right away…pls help thnk u lots …
@RCNITROLUVR WD40 is fine. Break in is done after rebuilds and when the engine is new. If the engine is used then no.
hey squirrelod, u seem to have alot of knowledge. ur helping me alot, im also new having 1 but drove alot from friends.. k i bought 1 from a friend and i wanna know do u still have to do all breaking in concept? n is it safe to use wd-40 on a after run?

man im having troubles with my truck. every time i start it, it dies right away and sumtimes when i start it it will last for like 20 seconds and when i give it gas it dies. im thinking its the idle screw cuz i fucked with it and i thought i knew what i was doing. help me out men
@ninjagaidenfan5 check your back pressure. if your pipe is good then take out the line that runs to your carb and pinch it and blow into the line that runs from the pipe. pinch the line you blew into and release the other and fuel should squirt out of it. of not you have a leak somewhere.

hi squrrelod,my engine has a problem.after i start it it roars to life then stops.if i pour some oil inside the carb,it roars to life.then it stops..after that it fails to start.can u tell me whats the roblem and howw i can fix it?ty!

I have a HPI savage with an SH .28 engine, my problem is that the engine shuts of at full throttle, accelaration is good but once reaching highspeed it just shuts off.
hi squirrelod i wonder if u could help me. i have a hpi savage x 4.6 and i didn’t use it for a while, i finally got it back out the other day and i returned to the base settings to re-tune it but the problem is when i apply the breaks when its on idle the engine total shuts off. could you please help me????????????????

@bduce77 I had a run away using an ofna fail safe. If the wires actually snap which connect the battery to the failsafe, then the fail safe can’t actually do anything, because it is powered by the battery.
my hobao pirate 10 did tht but it landed upside dpwn and it was goin full throttle and i had to go and cut it off…. i know how it feels
That sucks… that’s one of the things that effects us all in r/c be it cars or aircraft. I had the collective servo freak and go full pitch on my 50 sized heli a couple weeks back, that was a hairy experience ended up hitting throttle hold and watched it lawn dart a 1/4 mile back in some woods. I found it about two hours later. It was funny for everyone else but not for me that crash cost me 200 dollars to fix oh well, you race em you break em… you fly em you buy em lol.
My hyper 7 did this a few months ago.
Luckily there was a curb that stopped the car in it’s tracks at full speed….. *sigh*
@bermyguy77… its simple, you unplug your brake/throtle server from the receiver and add the fail safe inbetween the two. the way it works is if your batteries die or you lose signal it will automaticly apply the brakes so that it will not run off on you. one of the best items you could by for your r.c.

i used to have an electric rc car that would do the same thing when the battery got low enough. it takes its own power and goes where it wants. for electric it was fast
