if thats the right tune for the low soeed why does it quit instandly whan he pinches the fuel line the said that is sould run for 2 or 3 seconds then rev. up and quit lean ????
@play680 Its not with the needles, i have a nitro rustler too. you have to change the brake pads

are the any other ways you can tell if your HSN is to lean or rich?? other that temp. and bogging and smoke?
@arthur92710 It depends on the oil content, how lean it is, and where the engine is at in its life span. Its hard to answer as there are many variables. However, damage can occur as quickly as 30 seconds to a few minutes.
How long would you be able to run too lean before there is heat damage? How Would that be seen.

@soverato3 Its not how long you can hold onto it as the temp. A infrared temp sensor can be as cheap as $15. You might want to get one until you learn the visual and audible signs.
@badboyazza2009 You can but I prefer the heat cycle methods. You need heat for the break in to get the custom pinch. Its your engine.
hey squirrel, some guys advise people that on their 1st tank of engine run in, you should just let it idle for the complete tank, is this good for it? or will the engine overheat?
