im buyin a car with a team infinity .18, its £217 monster truck with complete alliminium upgrades because the syandard ones all cheap plastic. I was just wondering if there is a better beginer car you would advise for me to get for under £250, amd if you think the team infinity .18 is any good. Thanks!!!

@theorange427 Neither. When the engine compression is gone then rebuild. That could be 10 gallons.

squirrel… yesterday i was at the local track practicing for a big race tomorow in the truggy class. about five minutes in my 3.3 with 3/4 of a gallon thru it died on me. i was already considering a better engine as the 3.3 was crap from the start. i have two choices for the revo… the picco red dot .26 or the o.s. .21tm. i cant decide which to go with… do you have any experience with either engine?
if im breaking in my engine, do i have to do it all in one day or can i run like 3 tanks than the other two a seperate day?…i couldnt do the whole break in because of time constraints.
hey spuirrel, i was driving my mgt 3.0 today in the snow and it tipped of a snowbank and landed in some water. the engine quit, so i brought in and blowed it off with compressed air and took the air filter off and am drying. i drained the water out of the carb. the i took the glow plug out and pulled on it a few times to get all the water out. then i put some after run oil in the engine and turned it over. will my engine still be good?

You can use WD40 or after run oil. You dont want the plug to be covered in either case as it is a sign of being rich. The coil will burn off the oil in either case.
hey squirrel..its JOSE again… i heard that using wd-40 messes up the glow plug .. thats why i use after run oil ( patriot r/c) .. is that true ?
i have what would seem like a leak in my engine becase i have mine runnig and after woulds there is fuel al around the muffler and tank but not around the engine i looked and prerssure tested the tank and its fine any other advice my engine has had 5 litres of fuel put through it CBF changeing that to how ever many tanks and im not quite sure what do u think i should do?? :S
You need an air filter for mudding.
For general running 5 to 10 is fine.
I found it odd that you said to clean the air filter every 5 or 10 runs. I usually put two or three new air filters in on every run. They get dirty so fast. It has to affect air flow. What do you think?

@shazrob22 Not easily. All you could do is put a tighter or shorter clutch shoe spring on.
can the clutch be adjusted so it engages at slightly higher rpms?
im having problems with my warhead, i broke it in and everything but i turned it off and let it cool down a bit. then when i tried to start it again the big cog behind the clutch just spins when i pull the starter, any ideas?

Hey! Your vids have helped me alot maintaining my buggy, so thanks for that… -BUT i bought the car like a year ago and i havent used it for the past 6 months
This is because the car started dying out (low throttle) and i didnt know how to fix this… After two weeks i found out about the mixture screws, but it was a bit late cause the car exhaustionspipe had started to leak… The thing that connects the pipe and the engine… Turns out one of the screws was gone and this fucked up things.
shoes are facing the wrong way mate i have mine the other way better grab
use the Teflon shoes mate you get much better throttle response on um and less cleaning :d those metal shoes if im right :d they will give you better start off oomph

Need to unscrew the little grub screw by a few turns using an allen key. That reuduces the pressure on the gear change spring meaning it will change to second earlier.

Have a look at the clutch spring. It may be stretched or broken.

I have a Atomik Warhead just like the one in this video. I am having truble with the idle. every time it is in idle speed the wheels turn and when i hit the break it stals. dose and one have a clue or a tuning tip.

Thunder Tiger’s spring for my old GP.15Bxp was not too expensive and came with new shoes and e-clips in a bag as a set.
thanks A LOT dude, I found out my spring was broken; it wont even wrap around the shoes!!. It started when I heard this high pitch ringing noise, then my wheels kept spinning without me revving. where on earth can i get the spring or a few springs? Thanks a lot man!!
man i havent drove my atomic war head in like 4 yeasr becase the tune is soo fucked on it it wont even start i took it like 3 times to massive mods they tune it they started it for me i come home it wont even start so i give up lol ive spent more money on it then having fun on it ive probley spent more money on it how much i bought it 4
idle or low speed needle needs to be adjusted
maybe your idle is too high
Maybe check that the spring is still attached or not too loose.
wen i start my atomic warhead its wheels always spin. do you think i need to replace the spring!!!!
