RC Ansaldo SVA 5 Italian single-seater biplane. Imagine what it was like flying less than 100 years ago, single seat biplane flying for 7 hours to cover a little more than 600 miles…And testing those first aircraft without wind tunnels, simulators and computers, read on. Sgt. Mario Stoppani must have been a brave man, for on March 19, 1917, he test-flew the prototype SVA at Grosseto. Without modern testing and development procedures and simulations, he must have simply started up the engine, taxied down the field, and took off, hoping for the best. The most famous SVA raid took place in August, when eight SVAs flew to Vienna and back, a journey of 625 miles. The raid was the brainchild of Gabriele d’Annunzio, a rather extravagant, self-styled warrior-poet. Originally, d’Annunzio favored three-engine Caproni heavy bombers, but the Italian high command was unwilling to risk the large aircraft on such a Quixotic misson. SVA two-seaters, another possibility, did not have the endurance for a seven hour flight. so is there a specific thing Master airscrew is better at?
you know like, is it better for just cruise flying or for four strokes?
i like master airscrew props a lot.
they look good. but with APC i noticed i needed less touching of the needle valve.
if you want to pass on your plane to your children one day, get an apc and make the engine last longer.
My MA 12×8 prop does run more efficent than my APC 12×8 with no increase of sound.
I rather go for master airscrew for the small glow planes, for the electric take APC-E props, and the gas planes will do with a cheap Menz or for the expensive option a Mejzlik
After seeing this vid, and chatting to guys down at my field, all my Master Airscrew props are binned !
Yea,, you will get more power therefore you will save money on fuel cost by cutting down on power!! More Better Gas Miliage

Beautiful job! This plane is suddenly gaining popularity. I posted an electric rc conversion video of a 200% enlargement of the Sterling plan, a few months back. I saw a 1/4 scale version built by Rich Feroldi at the Scale Masters, and had to have one.
