An old broken and worn out radio control speed boat is sunk in the lake instead of being put out for the trash man. An onboard camera was put on to record the sinking.It was attached with velcro and tethered with a fishing line in order to recover the camera. A good pull ripped the velcro apart once the boat had sunk. I used my popsicle stick rc tugboat to pull it out to the site where it would be sunk. Please see my other videos for a video of that boat with an onboard camera. Once at the site, the duct tape that covered the holes that were drilled in the hull was pulled off and it began to sink. I used to have the same Traxxas boat back in the 1980s and had hours of fun swapping gear ratios on the drive to get the maximum speed, turning hollow aluminm tubes around the motors to keep them cool, swaping the magnetic brushes as they wore out, having an auxilary water pump to cool the engines while it was sitting stil and speeding around the nearby ponds until finally it gave out. I admire your devotion to a once great hero. I thought I was the only fanattic

i would have kept the old speedboat body as a companion item. take the tug popsicle boat to rc boat meets, and have the body as a tow behind item while u r there.

@VideoGamePlayer12 with all the differences then a Revo its not the same Revo is more for racing this is for bashing and crawling slower then the Revo so you break less parts

Isnt a summit pretty much just an e revo with a slower internal gear ratio, 2 speed transmission, different motor, tires, body and locking diffs? or is there more? Any suggestions on how to raise my e revo up to the hight of a summit?

That’s what I thought after watching videos. Looks like it needs stiffer springs to keep the suspension extended for better ground clearance.
I LOVE THE SUMMIT, but the only problem is the suspension because after sometime the car’s ride hight goes down and you can see that in the vid, but still AWESOME!
I ran mine in some water yesterday ( didn’t submerge it though ) and after it got wet it seemed to have a problem with going into reverse. It would take me 2-3 trys to get it to back up. The brakes would work fine but when I would try the reverse nothing would happen on the first try. Strange? Has this happened to anyone else?
they are two completely different cars! the summit, is mainly a crawler. I would go savage because its so big and can handle anything
