A ball bearing upgrade would be nice. I want to install a MFC-02 unit on mine but it is impossible to make it waterproof and I think can’t upgrade the motor and 2.4 radio.

@djmedic2008 but i don’t need one like yours, and the controller,servos,and what ever you need is 100 bucks
@theglitchen It is 300 maybe for you – for the kit.. but then you need your electronics, batteries, rx/tx, etc.. and to build one like mine.. you will NEED a minimum of $1500 USD

@UtRadioGuy i have never had chance to drive duratex cars. so can’t say for sure. I work for RedCat racing and they have some good Electric cars that your 11 year old can enjoy bashing without worries.
Hey I am looking for a good RC Car for my 11 year old son for Christmas. Any ideas? I’m thinking about the DutaTrax Evader? What are your thoughts? Oh, and I want one RTR out of the box with radio, battery, charger, everything. Something that will be fun in the dirt and road.

@randyneighbour they do work, we can adjust them to be softer, it bounces due to its tires, i have seen real trucks (GroundPounder) crashers they bounce the same way

i dont get it. if u love traxxas the most why bother with redcats. redcats and traxxas are business, they have their own target market, people may choose which they like…disrespecting comments in something that you’re not belong to seems a bit childish…yes this truck is a scale toy, even traxxas is. ali is the representative for the company, he gets free rc from the company, salary and etc…you just jealous because you cant be like him. bets ali’s pockets is deeper than you…

hey ali! drop in a 15 turn modified motor! the esc canhandle up to 13 turns!
