If I were you I would find a cheap trainer like this all ready to go and then you need, a transmitter, reciever, nitro fuel, starter, glow plug starter, 12v battery for starter, fuel pump and some patience. This plane was cheap and had everything installed and ready for flight except for my radio.
Im new to nitro planes and i have a question…
what are all the things you need to build a nitro plane? all i have is a cheap .18 nitro car. im probably going to first buy a foam electric plane but i just want to get an idea of what i need to build a nitro trainer plane

what rpm did you have the prop spinning at?
go flying with some one that knows what there doing and use a buddy cord thats how i have learnt has save me lots of dollars by not crashing.cool plane
but it can lour you into a false sense of security and you can be very shocked in reality and possibly crash! (like me)
before going flying the first time, get a flying simulator. U get all the practice u need from that
I started flying about a year and a half ago and still learning lots. Yes hard at first and many crashes, but once you get the basics it gets easier.

Very Nice! Now you make me want to hurry and get my nitros in the air. I too got 3 of them just a few weeks ago from a field buddy. Ugh, guess I’ll break down and go get the equipment I need. I cant let you have all the nitro fun around here. LOL. Thanks for giving me the nitro itch. 5*
Tell you what. Seems nitro is more economical than electrics and provides more reliable flight times. I’m kinda burned out on buying expensive lipos’ and hydrides.
Thats a cool plane there youtwoba. I’ve been looking at the Sig Senior with ever increasing intrest. I’m thinking I could convert one to 4 channel. 5* from me.

yeah bro but now its too late to mod it with retracts. just thinking to put in a gasoline though. but not sure. the fuselage is too old to bear a new engine. keeping the baby alive as long as i can
