This is a SHORT video on my Nitro Sport Conversion. It has the 2.5R motor in it…Pretty Sick. I know it wrecked at the end, its not that i suck at RC cars, so if your going to say I do, dont post a comment. You can only go a so fast in a small neighborhood. Also it is a vid from my phone, so the quality kinda sucks. Im going to try to get a better OFF BOARD one tomorrow or next week. THNX and RATE!!

I’d just go with MIP Steel outdrive cups and drive shafts. The Rustler and the Nitro Sport are basically the same so you could buy these drive shafts for your nitro sport even though they are meant for the rustler. There is no difference. its like they are interchangeable. Just my .02 cents.
Your video has inspired me to do the same with my nitro sport and this lil f@#ker screams. Torque is awesome. hard to keep the front tires on the ground but i wouldn’t want it any other way. Although I am going to put an after market wheelie bar on it. Looks like you had fun. i love mine so much that i practically sleep with it…lmao. I put Anaconda tires on 2.8 chrome wheels on it. Basically the same tires and wheels that the Jato has.Also has a 72 tooth steel spur gear from robinson racing.

Ok to help some out. It has a 2.5./3.3 upgrade kit, stock black plastic pipe, and at the time had stock drive shafts in it. Now it has Jato drive shafts to eliminate the twisting or popping off problems.

y put it in a sport? i put a 3.3 in my rustler cuz they hold up a lot better, hence the 2 piece chassis on the sport and the full aluminum chassis on the rustler.
Nice but once i get my nitro sport i’m dropping in an Os or picco instead of another trx enginev
You can install jato 3.3 shafts in it and it will solve that problem. JUst look up “how to install jato driveshafts into a nitro rustler on google.
I put a 3.3 in mine and now i keep throwing drive shafts and outputs. It tears them right in two. as far as i can find they don’t make aluminum shafts that will work in it. did you have this problem? or do you have a fix?

The traxxas pro.15 to 2.5 upgrade kit as well as a new 3.3 motor. Even though it says 2.5 the upgrade kit is compatible with a 3.3 motor.

Nitros arent that loud when it comes down to it. Just keep the exhaust pipe on it. Open header is a different story.
It just depends on who whats to complain.
Man i want a nitro sport so bad but my dad thinks nitro cars are to loud to drive in town.

Yeah..I never thought of it but it does sound like a kazoo is stuck in the pipe. Yeah I know both you guys…Yep your Tc 3 is a speed deamon…when you find traction that is.lol.

have you never heard a nitro rc car before it is basically a little 2 stroke engine that can run like 20 thousand rpm that fast my car is the tc3 that he recorded if its on hard asfault its wicked fast.
