If you bought it for $400-500 then you were ripped off in a big way. My E-Revo cost $450 at the time this video was posted, and E-Maxx could be had for cheaper.

What?! i got a brand new nitro sport for 250with ez start ready to run. how many tanks did u run through it to break in and about how fast did u go when you did it

I got mine brand new for $280. Be aware that this also comes with a glow plug, starter, remote, etc., etc.,. The only thing that I needed to buy was fuel (about $15) battery stick for starter, a charger for the battery and fuel. It says you need after-run oil, but WD40 works really well. after all items were purchased: $355. Just ask employees at the hobby shop (where you get it) for the batteries and charger, I forget if it was NiCd or niMH (something like that). They really are lots of fun!

it usually takes a 1 litre bottle of 5% nitro to properly break it in.

william can go to the hobby store and get parts really cheap but the 5 bucks will get him in trouble. i bet the first day he wrecks his car he’s going to cry. mine first was bad. it got stuck going full blast. all my wrecks have been from the reciever failing, servos failing, or my last wreck the clutch shoes failing
the madbeast is nice. the bumper i got on mine is from a madbeast that i trimmed to fit.
i have an exceed mad beast. i know your parts situation.
i know. he babies it and he can get parts anywhere. i get scared to drive my exceed rc madstorm hard because its hard to get parts but i still jump that stuff and run into stuff. i don’t care. i know that if i break it it will be out for about only a week thats it. if he wrecks its out for the day. my car is hard to get parts for. we live a block or so away from a small hobby story and they sell that stuff. i have to get the stuff off a website. btw it is a nitro sport with a pro .15 engine.
