Will this work with any Gas rc car?

im a newbie and have a 1/8 truck when i start it it goes really fast to fast for idle i think like full speed, this is out of the box! should i richenn the low speed or should i adjust the idle?

well there are two things i can say, your idle might be too high or low end may be too lean were if engine dont get too much gas. then engine will have more air and with more air then gas car will end up rolling off at high rpm.
to test and see if you have a idle or low end problum. frist start your car and turn off engine by gas line it shound take 3 to 4 sec if longer your rich. if your engine gos off fast without 4 sec of time then you are lean.
it does rev but even when the idle is right down to low the engine just cuts out, and as soon as i put it on the floor it cuts aout, and as soon as i touch the break it cuts out aswell, and when im holding it in the air i cant stop the wheel from turning.
Does it rev up quite high.? It may be the Idle screw set too high.. Not the high or Low speed.. but the Idle screw set set too high.. Look in the carb and set the gap at 1mm
im having problems because when i start mine, it starts rolling and ive tried ajusting everything, does anyone know how to fix this problem?
i like to run my engine rich becouse it is my first nitro rc car
my riot has to be constantly reved to stay running, if i dont rev it, it stalls after a few seconds. ive adjusted the idle slightly but then the car judders forwards on its own, so it cant be idle valve, what can this be?

true that but i traded it for a team losi aftershock now thats losing power i pull a roto start box on the motor so i can use that instead because the string broke on it. so now all i gotta do is get a drill to start it.
I’ve got the same problem!!! I managed to fix it, but after trying yet again, to achieve not crap performance….IT DIED…back to step one i suppose.

here is my question i have an xtm truggy that has a pt .28 engine and i can’t get it to start after i tryed to tune it when it was running a bit lean.

my main problem is: While i am driving my car it sounds like it is going fast when i apply a little throttle but the downside is that it is not goin very fast and i cannot seem to figure out what the problem is. which valve do i have to adjust?
what would i need to adjust if it cuts out when i jam the breaks on
give it some more lean
