@msp33 For 4×4 slash, $300 – $350 used. You can find some in rough condition for $180 – $250. A lot of people are dropping in the Mamba Max system though, so if you want to run in the stock class, make sure it’s got the stock Velineon system in it.

I have 3 batteries and i can just cycle them all day on the charger. My other friend has 5, w/o charging he has 4.5 to 5.5 hours of runtime…..nitro is over rated…..
Love my truck, buy all rpm components, 2s lipo, good charger and your set.
My 3s battery is just to much, i actually run faster lap times with the 2s….but for bashing i love the 3s.
nice course id like to drive that =] dirts better but this is cool too.

i can buy a brushless truggy 1:10 scale with no batterie (so i will buy a lipo i think)
or i can buy a slash 2wd with a stock engine (brushed i think?) and stock batterie
the slash is 140 and chargers andso included
the truggy 160 no chargers no batteries and go on

@0mgitscole they are amazing cars and its a farley good brushless and its water proof so u dont have to worry about water very easy to maintain and extreamly durable
2wd Slash = 150 used – 250 new. depends on where you buy. the newer 4wd is 350+ I think… maybe someone can clearify?

if your talking bout the 1/16 4wd one. i would say yes. it was my first hobby grade rc. and its awesome damn near indestrutbale. the only thing is that you need to by a spare charcher the the one they give you sucks (6 hours) by a after market one and its down to 45 mins for a full charge. other than that amazing truck

slash are very durable so you dont really need anything, want to pack some power try lipo out
