hey i just got my mr-o2 mini-z today and i am having troubles with steering and controlling. I drive it on my rather thin carpet but no matter what i do it doesnt go straight and it oversteers a lot. I have read the manuall and have done everything it said. Any suggestions?

@KarlitoTCT tr getting a more tourque powerd motor it helps alot when coming out of drifts and also try to practice throttle and steering control

oh nooo xmods are not the same like Mini-Z. Mini-z are faster and more styled as Xmods, but Xmods are very good, too

You can drift with a mr-02 to. But it’s hard as hell, I got foam tires in front and dift tires back and a 100$ trim motor and it works pretty good with it.
Mini-Z AWD Info: Mini-Zs cost around 150$ stock. Only AWD for drifting.
My car’s (AE86) set-up: Drift tires, Xpeed motor, Ball bearings on all friction points, soft springs all around, Carbon fiber drive shaft, Camber: 1.5º front 2.5º rear, Toe: 1º front 1º rear. Hope it helps.

Track Info: This is a very simple track made with fitted carpet. It is standing on a wooden platform about 1meter above ground level. I cannot give ref about the carpet but here are few tips: All you need is a flat carpet with a dense frame and short fibers. This particular carpet is about 2mm thick and costs around 100$. Surface: 2mX2.5m. Use any liquid glue and on the floor to avoid the carpet curving. All the rest is up to you make use of your engineering skills… Good luck, Thanks…

mini Z’s are the best. less maintainance and durable
@coatduck ok bro, they are going fast but what he failed to mention is that those cars are equiped with special drift tires. the drifting technique is actually difficult to master but looks cool once you do.
