@pjerry72 … Simulator is well worth it … but you can get this for free : Google for “HeliSimRC” … it’s much better than the other oft quoted freebie – FMS. All you need then is a Tx with USB cable … which most, even the cheapo Chinese clone radios have. As to heli – I bought a clone 450 same as Mikeys, but actual SE V2 ( gyro is slung UNDER tail boom) for just over $200 RTF .. complete. Barebones version $25, radio system another $90, motor / ESC about $40, gyro $20… already over $170.

  7. solentlifeuk says:

@pjerry72 … sad … and probably he wonders why his biz is going down. Trouble is like corner shops for that emergency carton of milk while main food list is via the supermarket, LHS literally are expected to survive on pickings, the repair bits and pieces, having NOT sold the main item – that having been bought cheaper online. I know this as I am as guilty of it as many others. We all want the LHS to be there, but economics makes us spend online. I wonder what real cost is long term ?

  8. solentlifeuk says:

@hcoptertx … you have a problem … you ought to read what you typed before – then you will understand …
Anyway – it’s a common term “tail wagging” when gyro is not set right … but of course you probably have another term for that ? Cyclic Yaw ?? Mikey is providing good flight instruction regardless of your need to correct terminology. I value his effort and time to make and post the vids.
As to my character, not your affair and anyway – you must be just as bad to be on here watching!

  9. solentlifeuk says:

@hcoptertx …. quote : ” Moving the tail side to side is not called wagging as mentioned. It is called “yaw”. The ” tail rotor” is not a rudder either. Its there to counteract torque of the main rotor. Adjusting the gyro as the copter is sliding to the side is a “roll” adjustment. ” …. not exactly Cyclic is it ? Adjust Gyro for side movement ? Gyro looks after yaw of the tail not cyclic roll !! I don’t need a b****** manual to explain what cyclic is …..

  10. solentlifeuk says:

@hcoptertx … like others – thanks for the correction … but really not needed. The guy is providing good instruction to novices and people starting to look at RC choppers … proper terms can be learnt later …
Even so … i do not agree with your “roll adjustment” statement .. and I’m not a Heli-expert.
Nice to know there are experts out there … haha …

    Go for it Mikey !!

i tried getting into rc hellis and seen some stimulators online for 20bucks and some really nice starter helicopters for about 80-120bucks (4 channel) but people kept telling me to go to a local hobby shop… so i did as soon as i walk in there i tell him i have a 120-170 dollar budget, the idiot trys selling me a 200$ simulator with a 220$ helicopter that i seen online for less then a 100$… fuck supporting local hobby shops honestly

  12. zpafford says:

@hcoptertx Thanks wikipedia… I wonder what my life would be like if I didn’t read your useless comment. In fact, it took me away from about 5-10 seconds of the video wasted on you… shame on you, sir, shame on you.

  18. Aloz16 says:

It’s normal to have like a .8 second delay on the tail rotor right? I mean from when you move the RC stick until the tail rotor starts moving.

  19. MikeysRC says:

    @mitch4137 how so?

  20. MikeysRC says:

@JusZLiMiT jus gO 2 UR local hobe shop and ax 4 a “hElecoptOr training kit” I didnt make it i jus bot it.

  22. hcoptertx says:

@MikeysRC Just constructive, wasnt meant to come off like it sounds. Since retiring from the helicopter field, I do RC for hobby and therapy for my hand. (C-7 quad). Apologies for it sounding as harsh as it was.

  23. MikeysRC says:

@hcoptertx SIR…Yes SIR!!! I will drop and give you 25 for my mistakes SIR!

  24. MikeysRC says:

@dozermanful Try reversing your gyro “REV / NOR” switch.

Xheli are known to have the latest and cheapest helicopters on the market, but recently u guys has been really behind. Even that website Helipal has these helicopters on their site.
If i werent a good costumer at Xheli i would just left and go buy it there, but as a loyal fan i decided to wait for more hopefully this Christmas .. please dont fail me Xheli

  30. Afrocanuk says:

@howardflight09 The Walkera V120D01 is much better because the tail rotor is gear driven. The Solo Pro v2 uses a TRM.

can this fly outdoors ? its kinda useless to have a very powerful chopper for indoors only , coz its hard to find enough space to fly this thing indoors.. so can this fly outdoors ? coz sure it will be a hell alot of fun if you can play with this at an open area . and if this cant fly outdoors what is your recommendations . !

what is the best mini heli fixed pitch that you flew?
which micro fixed pitch easier for a beginner?
flight Flybarless with technology is more stable?
blade Msr or 4#6 bell or Flybarless heli technology?

  45. KoukiSilvia says:

So when are these coming in ??
    WANT !!!

  46. merlynwylld says:

Yes it is fast and agile looking, probably more so than my eye hand coordination!. I have a Kyosho Min 120AD 4 Channel, little smaller than that I think and I can;t even hover it yet, starting to feel Copter Challenged!! :) You have any thoughts about how it compares to the Minium 120AD? I can always go back to my lumbering CoComanche! & FMS

  47. michaelrp says:

    Hello,

Where can I find this rc heli? I tried looking for it but I cannot find it at xheli.com
Please help me with getting better battery too please.. i want more flying time…

    THANKS!

  48. michaelrp says:

damn! that is pretty straight forward flying! I just got my first rc heli from xheli.com too! but its not stable… its pretty difficult to fly! LOL…. and yah i know im an newbie… but I spent around 3hours using the Esky FMS when I got the package…

One thing that I am concern is the flying time of electric Rc helicopters.. I spent 3hours charging and can only fly 5mins? Can the flying time be extended if I get a much better battery cell? I want to fly more! LOL

  49. ronatoju says:

can they make for 450 or bigger?

  50. vincent154451 says:

@jujuqka Well not trying to get xheli to lose business, but you can buy the V120D01 from other stores online…google it then click on shopping! =P its about 200
