my friend first of all you must warm up the engine before you get it in the water.
if the engine is cold it can not warm up in the water, so it can not give you the full rpm. something else is what gas you use. i use nitro 25% for car engines. sorry for my english. i hope to help you with this. if you have any questions just tell me.

I have the same boat. But i lives it own life. can you help me with this? Check out Youtube. kthobby. The engine runs bad in the start. But it turns faster and faster. Untill out og gas:(

well for a real boat like this rough water is better because it creats more lift… less drag
sounds like a fucking jet ski, waters a bit choppy for it though.
