The two guys from Can’t-drive-o-meda are back! This time we were testing the mini E-Revos with a 4S LiPo setup (2x2S 2200mAh packs in series). It all ended up in… tears. To be continued.

@Gospurs10 because the bigger the tire the more O.D. has to travel in the same time, given the motor is spins at the same speed, which it will. if you think about a giant tire, or something round and large(i know where your minds going), the outside travels faster than the inside. acually no matter what the overall size the inside still travels the same speed, assuming its the same distance from the piviot point or whatever you wanna call it

Hey I got one I am using 11.1 1300 lipo also have two 7.2 1600 running together but the lipo is faster why also if I put bigger tires on will it increase my speed please help
i get 28 min with two 1600 orions

How long do the NIMH 7 cells for this thing last? I’m tryin to decide between this and a 1/10 Slash 2wd so please help.

poor gears !!!
I run the same setup and it works exactly like that stripping of the gears and all it don’t hurt my esc and I’m running two venom 2000 mah 7.4 s with the traxxas connector awsome
and this didnt hurt your esc??? it says the most volts to put to it on lipo is 12.6

@techdeckfaby My Chinese LiPos came with Deans Ultras (knock-offs) which was convenient since the previous owner had already ditched the Traxxas connector in favor of a Deans. I soldered my paraller & series adaptors using Deans connectors too. The gold standard today seems to be the XT60 connector, but shops such as Hobbyking sell very cheap adapters so if you want to retain the Traxxas connector in the ESC then that’s a simple no-solder option for you.

Even if they’re low on charge that final 5% of self-discharge just might take them over the edge. The Flightmaxes are really dry when they stop giving normal current.
A word to all ye of little faith: I’ve had the packs for a year now and they’re still good as new.
@Addikti why do you have to rush the batteries to the charger when your done cant you just unplug them and charge them when the cool down
