There are 2 main ways to obtain one of these trucks. The first option is to build it yourself and the other way is to purchase a prebuilt truck, which may or may not be used depending on who had the truck previously.
I started with the stock Tamiya Clod Buster kit and then upgraded my trucks with aftermarket chassis kits, electronics, etc. I think Tamiya offers the gear boxes separately, which is essentially all you’ll need from the stock kit.
…Or, sometimes prebuit trucks show up on ebay.

This isn’t my truck, so I’m not sure exactly where he got it, but he did make the body himself though.

Yup, it’s a modified Tamiya Clod Buster with a Monster Patrol body that Joe custom whipped up himself.

@Burgessssss ……..none the cheapest that is any good (in the sense of parts and upgadability) is around E150 or 350 bucks or more …dont know if my maths right though dont bite mah head off for that one =P

they just lower the suspension for dip-in turns and added spoilers for rear end down force.
