    Hi Squirrel!
I’ve soldered my traxxas connectors to a battery of mine, but for some reason the alloy has come of and now the copper is exposed. Do I have a problem?
Does this affect the way my connectors will put current through my connectors?

I was trying to solder wires on my E Revo, but I put too much solder then too little to where it was barely hanging on, so I took everything apart and took it to my hobby store to let them fix it.

i bought a lipo online and it came with 10 gauge wire. i dont think it will fit traxxas connectors because i had a tough time soldering 12 gauge onto it. it barely fit inside the hole. any suggestions?

  16. Squirrelod says:

@34kevin34 Ive been soldering for 10 years or more. It just takes practice. You will get there the more you practice. Having a good iron is huge as well =)

Flux is a liquid used to transfer heat though it is corrosive. Solder is the silver wire that gets melted to join the two electronics pieces.

  23. stratmast3r says:

i never knew that there was a difference between flux and solder! I tought its just two names for the same thing… what is the difference??? Thanks

  25. microflyyer says:
