lol if you get a motor to speed up the stampede, you still gotta get the esc so together your looking at about 100-200 bucks
All you have to do is add a brushles motor servos and lighter parts
@shrimpsk8 try 83 spur and 23 pinion makes it way faster with good punch still
yo the battery the stampede comes with is a 7 cell
i have a 19 tooth pinion gear with a 86 spur. i want it to be fast but i also like to do some crazy turns and off-road sometimes. is it worth changing the pinion gear to a 23 tooth
Motors are 20 bucks idiot batteries are 30 moron.
how is this tight budget? motors are like over 100 and batterys are pretty expensive too

r u seroius, xl 5 models to upgrade r so easy and the 1/16 models, hardest thing to upgrade to the max, is the revos and summits ect. i could take everything off my stampede and put itback together, cant wait to get the 3500 velineon brushless system, im doin a trade in get 80 bucks off.!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

@kberzok i got a hobby shop to install it so i have no idea what they done to install it, but i don’t think they had any problems and iv had no faults or threaded gears with it yet.
@killerBFG did you have any problems with the length of the ezrun motor and the traxxas pinion? does it align well with the spur?
