www.nitrorcx.com Even the storm cellar can’t stop the Sunfire Buggy!! Exceed’s New Electric Buggy hits the competition with the force of an F-5!!! The RC 540 High Torque motor produces outstanding power!!! Did someone say “JUMPS”?……..How high do you want to go? The long travel suspension and oil-filled shocks help absorb just about anything you can drive it over. The linear motor driven brakes ensure “on-a-dime” stopping power, even at these speeds!!!……..but who wants to stop when you are having this much fun?

I have a Team Associated RC18MT. Do you have any videos or any suggestions on how to upgrade it? I have stock, (except for a new battery (1400 mAh)) but I feel the need for speed! Thanks in advance. I was thinking a new motor?
the what wrench, Alan wrench for removing the pinion (if thats what its called)?
i didn’t understand…a brushless motor requires less energy because of the ‘brushless’ thing which is less force waste. So actually with the same battery, I should have longer driving time on a brushless than on a normal motor. Isn’t that right? I couldn’t clarifty it from the video.
Hello, I’m thinking of buying this car but I already have a Speed Gems Amber type brushless motor, what else would I need to put it on the car?
im thinnking of buying the model that is already equiped with a brushless motor. will installing the kit you used give better performance than the stock brushless one?
can the stock motor handel a batt upgrade and what would be the best batt i can get for the stock motor
Why is it that you people seemed to be able to to sell people this stuff and then when things go wrong or someone needs customer service you do your best to avoid the customer?
Its April 15th,I’ve called your number nine times alone today got no answer,I’ve owned my champion since January 2010,every email I send to you people ends with a run around first its,we will have our tech department get back with you in one or two business day’s, then its please call us then you never answer!
@elcanapas11 No, it has no brushes, so the motor itself requires no breakin at all.
You should run it carefully after moving the motor though, to make sure the pinion/spur are properly aligned and not binding, or you might strip your gears when you give it full throttle.
@elcanapas11 only the brushes needs breaking in, and brushless doesnt have any, so it doesnt require any breakin at all (I rarely do it even on my brushed motors)
Run the car at low throttle after any kind of motor work though, to make sure the spur/pinion are not too tight or too loose though, if you hear any cogging sounds, stop immediatly and check the drive train (mainly spur/pinion play)
Never give it full throttle directly if you have moved the motor in any way,
you could strip your gears
@fernades45 the stock receiver should work fine
@elcanapas11 it is always recommended that you slowly run the brushless motor before full throttling it. So yes you still have to break it in to be safe.
@nitrorcx will the stock receiver works well?
NiMH / NiCD / Lipo 5000mAh 7.2 will work
No. Some need programming though
do you have to break in a brushless motor?
wat scale is this?
would a 7.2v 5000mah enough?
You would need the kit, Brushless Motor, ESC, Programing Card, and a Lipo battery to power all this
if i want to upgrade my brushed motor to a brushless motor, do i just have to buy the BRUSHLESS MOTOR or anythign else?
check nitrorcx . com
Where did you get that brushless set and it was only a hundred bucks.
what turn is the brushless ez-run motor
dude that exceed took a beating and it looks like you had some fun with it too.
the stock motor is for racing it still isnt brushless though. you can get a brushless stock motor which will kick ass
hey i had the same problem. i found out it was the transmitter. you have to get a new remote with a new cristle. i took my remote from my traxxas 4 tech and took the crystle out of the 4 tech and put it in my sunfire. so try that and let me know how it works!
