www.nitroplanes.com The F22 EDF Jet by Exceed RC is one exceptional r/c jet. It is power-driven by a 70mm electric ducted fan along with a powerful 2836 inner runner brushless motor and 45A ESC 5A UBEC plus one 15C LiPo battery. The aircraft is made with dense and solid foam and comes with a strong set of fixed landing gear. Flies very fast and has tremendous wing area and large control surfaces. The F22 is also very stable for intermediate pilot and very easy to fly for experts. Thrust is superb with better than 1-1 thrust to weight ratio if you upgrade it with a more powerful 25c battery. While this jet has a 27 wingspan and 40 in length, it flies magnificently with true aerodynamic ability and will handle wing much better just like the real F22 Raptor! Everything is included in the package, pre-installed except the lithium-poly battery charger (sold separately). The plane only takes few minutes to assemble and youre ready to fly!
My first Nitro RC, I decided to try Exceed RC because of their competitive prices. I am 100% satisfied, parts are easy to order on their site!! The car is super fun!!!!
Video Rating: 3 / 5

RB you never deep fried a turkey or had trash can corn and lobster crawfish boil dang what you big city boys eat … or you could just pure boiling water on the glue .. as for the servos water will not hurt them give them time to dry out …ever seen brush on electral tape use that on the electrions boards to water proof or GE silicone… use a little spit or cooking oil to keep GE silicone from sticking to fingers as you work it around part STOP BUYING UP ALL NITROPLANES lol: )
@dude7422 : That would have to be one big pot to fit the tail of the plane in… LOL.. Interesting trick though. I’ve used boiling water to get crunched foam to expand back to near normal shape, but not to break the bond..hmmm. but again, the dilemma of the pot…. How would you get the the vertical in the boiling water? If I had a big enough pot, I’d be submerging servos and maybe the motor? Let me know how youre doing this…very interested to know, could come in very handy! thanks!
rcredbaron one thing you said is not true you say ((( you can not unglue CA)))) (((((you can just use boiling water and wa la glue bond is broke))))
Ooooh come on now!
The video actually helps out alot!
I’m thinking of buying this exact plane.
I didn’t know how much it would take to put one of these together.
Watching the video, I can tell that it’s going to be an easy job.
I’ve actually bought other kits that I thought would be a piece of cake.
I opened the box, and found out that I needed quite a few materials to buy, in order to put it together.
So it does help!
If you didn’t have to watch, then why comment?
Do your own.
Thanks for posting this, going to be building my first EDF soon.
Its NitroPlanes Cessna 421. Sweet plane!
When I fisrt started building EDF’s these videos were very helpfull, but after mastering glueing wings and elevons I picked up a airframe kit, why is there no videos on how to build the airframe kit witch in my opinion is something that you need a totorial for, EDF installation, types of glue and ways of holding the airframe, servos to use and servo placement, we don’t realy need these videos about RTF builds, if you need help with RTF you should not have purchased this type of aircraft
What is that big plane..? Beechcraft Baron?
Happy july 4th
sweet lookin bird. my buddy got a p38 last week and i liked it so much I ordered a p47. ive already got a brushless motor and 11.1v lipo so im sure it will haul ass. I cant wait for shipping!! lol. Thanks for the vid and I cant wait to put mine together!
lol your gonna hav fun
RedBaron Makes the Absolute Best RC Plane and Helicopter Videos! Super Informative, Great Speaker, Clear and Precise! Thank You for Posting!
I love these “How To” videos. Would you be able to do one on the F-18 EDF? 5/5
i can see that there is no yaw so thats the only fix i would do.
OMFGWTFLOLROFLLMFAOLOLWUTBBQ
Look at all the planes in the background! Lucky guy
Can i have a rating for this out of 10?
definately get a hobbyzone super cub as your first plane, i loved that thing
hi ppl im getting my first rc plane to learn on soon but whats the difference with this “edf” plane and normall plane??
any begginer planes you would suggest that arnet to hard to get kos im in australia and its kinda hard to find a good dealer here
This is a GREAT first EDF jet. No need for a Gyro on this bird. She will sail like a bird with power off. Very Stable!
so this is a good firs edf then?
do you recommend puting a gyro on the roll coz ive heard that edf like to tip stall when slowing for landing.
Thanks
Sam
They really do fly like the videos show. However, most of the videos you see of them flying are flown by experienced flyers. You dont want to jump into an EDF jet if you’ve never flown before.
The only thing you need extra is a charger for the battery. But picking up a good charger that can charge all types of batteries and various cell sizes is a great investment in this sport. This jet is ready to go except the charger. Check the flight video I made. From this build to Flight, perfect.
does the all the rtf aircraft by exceed really fly like they say they do in the videos, as they come out of the box with stock equip. are do you have to spend other money on better motors and bigger batteries to get them to fly like the video claims?
hair dryer to heat up the sticker, then peel it off, be sure to use FOAM SAFE paint when repainting. hope this helped
Sam
Use a hair blow drier and heat it up, be sure to do it in small sections. It may be un-painted underneath the sticker.
You Can’t.
@DonahueMotorsports hpi makes some huge engines lol also huge price….
@gianrich my savage only goes 55 with its 3 speed 5.9 motor, i seriously dought this ever breaks into the 30s lol.
@ogjay777 no, i doubt it just by looking at there desighns, any car will get busted up from to much jumping, even savages, but you might bend stuff up bad on these things, plus i could hear that motor hitting top RPMs at what looked like only 25 mph, while mine would be putting around in 1st gear at that speed, and would max out at around 55 in third gear, but thats the differance between a savage and an exeed. but if thats the only kind you can afford, get one! im all for racing no matter what!
@mcfartard haha I spend even more than you , I use HPI and o.s. engines only.
nice buggy!!!!!
Which iz better 1/8 or 1/10 scale
if your going to buy a nitro from exceed, go with the 1/8 Madstorm! they’re pretty good quality!
no doesnt go in rreverse and if you dont do the break in your engine will only last about 5 tanks before diei
How are they?
dose it go in reverse too and wat is the break in meathod and is it truly nessisary
great price but i think ill stick with traxxas and os. engines
dont get 1 there shit
