Exceed RC F-18C Blue Angels EDF RC Jet Brushless

A very nice model from Exceed RC. If you are bored with the performance of the regular 64mm EDF models out there, and are looking for something a little larger, with much higher performance, this is for you. It has a 70mm fan and uses a 4s 2200 lipo, and is capable of 80mph at least right out of the box. It also can handle whatever power upgrades you want to throw at it. The landing gear is unique, it is fixed gear with the mains in a non-scale semi-retracted position for much less drag. It looks a little funny, but it works well, landings are very easy. It will also hand-launch with no problems. I really like it so far, after about 5 flights, handling is crisp, speed is excellent, vertical performance is good, it’s great for someone who wants a higher level of performance, and the quality of molding, engineering, and construction is to Starmax’s usual high standard.

Verry nice. awesome Video, I love how quick it is to gain altitude. How much would a suitable 4S charger cost to go with it? And can they be shipped to NewZealand? Thanks!

for all beginners, we recommend them to start with the 3-channel airplane and a $20 flight simulator software. come to our support forum if you need more advice

  9. nitroplanes says:

brushless is the most advanced type of electric motor for rc plane — lipo is the most advanced type of battery (lithium polymer)

  17. TheBlakescott says:

@nitrorcx where do yo find madifications to waterproof a engine on a 1/5 scale

  18. omgitstheawesomekid says:

30 mph isnt that fast. i have a traxxas jato 3.3, it may only be 1/10 scale, but i got up to 67 mph on asphalt. that was only $300, but this seems pretty awesome because its huge

  19. nitrorcx says:

@Theman6771 Thank you for the post, Theman6771! I’d recommend waterproofing the electronics no matter what such as the esc and engine as well. =) It’s not quite waterproof and that’s perfect as it is a hobby, you can do absolutely anything you want to it, such as modifications, upgrades, etc =) -cn

Hey NitroRCX Uhmm well i was looking forward to maybe buying a 1/5 scale Hannibal or Barca in the future but i want to know if it is okay for them to get wet, because right now i have a 1/10 traxxas nitro rustler and i almost fried my ESC by driving through a puddle and wated to know if those can handle more i have seen them go through deep deep mud and puddls but i dont know if its real bad.

  36. RcMasta90 says:

hpi dont got a monster truck 1/5 and there diff then hpi in some wayes

  37. camtunkpa says:

These are made by HSP. The same company who make the Redcat Rampage and Dunerunners. Parts would be compatible with the redcat Dunerunner as it is basically the same car. These are not HPI Baja clones and are not compatible with the HPI parts. You can run wheels and tires for the Baja on them by getting a set of HPI hexes though. I’ve done this with my redcat rampage TT. I can’t wait for the Hannibal to come out so I can ad another 1/5 scale to my toy shed!!!!!!!

  38. nitrorcx says:

I believe on the wheels and shocks are compatible. The chassis components wouldn’t be compatible and I’m not so sure about the engine either. Sorry for the lack of information.

Are the parts on the Barca compatible with any other buggy like the HPI?
