Exceed RC Blue Ray 450 with 18 G Tail Rotor Cam.

Just for fun, I decided to Velcro the 18G Vidcam (from Nitroplanes) and see just how smooth my helicopter is, since hand bending the main shaft and tail rotor shaft back straight. A bent shaft would cause a vibrating tail boom for sure, which would be obvious here, especially with the extra weight from the camera mounted on the Tail rotor housing. * Note The fact that the rotor blades are cycling faster than 60 cps is the reason they look so wild and being out of sync with the camera. Not bent! LOL I got both the Blue Ray 450 and the 18 g Camera from Xheli/Nitroplanes.com I like them both. www.jdoqocy.com Thanks for watching and the support. Dave.

hey Dave wut are those float things you have on your helis im always wondering that.
is it just for the snow, or what??

    Happy Flying =)

    great vids Dave!!!!

    I miss your EDFs.
Helicopters just don’t do it for me. Spastic twitchy things, I just can’t tell if your doing tricks or its some squirly thing with rotors doing whatever it wants to… anyway not trying to hate, I have respect for Heli pilots, just probably fun to fly but not to watch really.

  8. SgtToni says:

LoL at the rotor blades :P

  9. Voncroee says:

Great micro-camera quality :O omg! i love it!
Dave im a big fan anyways! Greetings from Greece!

  10. jboweruk says:

Great vid as usual Dave, I tried to get my Flycam1 to do the snow but it hates the cold. :(

    Love it, 5 stars.

Nice, gotta love that BlueRay, 5*****

  13. jackuserjack says:

    good vid 5 stars

  14. taofledermaus says:

You’re right. The camera is a technical wonder for us older guys who have seen the evolution of RC and cameras. In another few years we will probably see even smaller cameras that will record in higher resolutions, framerates, and probably send a video signal back to the user. All from a camera the size of a raisin. lol

  15. taofledermaus says:

I remember contemplating strapping a large “Handy Cam” on one of my larger planes back in the day to do some aerial filming. (never got the nerve to do it!) These new micro-cams are pretty amazing. Makes me really wonder what else we will be able to do 10-20 years from now!

  16. beverke7 says:

very nice work, quite stable indeed ! 5 stars

  17. shakeythumbs says:

hi , no i havnt got one, i just seen them, theres a vid of one strapped to a RC plane here on you tube somewhere ,looks Ok

    Very cool perspective Dave!

  20. SoCalsandman780 says:

Haha. Hey, I’m still flying, that’s what hotel banquet rooms are for! (remember?) I flew last night in one for about 4 hours. (Fixed the hovering problems, woohoo!)We’re having SERIOUS T-storms here today. Woke up to a boomer this am that sounded like an explosion!

  21. SoCalsandman780 says:

    LOL!!

  22. NightFlyyer says:

    Thanks.

  23. spektrum33 says:

The picture quality is first rate very clear..
    what is the mini cameras make as this would do great on my glider of the slope …{“_*}

  24. NightFlyyer says:

Got lots of Aiptek Pencams myself. They are still only 15-30 FPS and even the best cameras do not like the frequency conflict of FPS versus Rotors speed frequency. If you have one, It would be neat for you to make a video like this, so we could see the differences.

  25. NightFlyyer says:

Yep, I appreciate that, but at 18 grams and only 15 FPS, it did pretty good. My 1080 P and HD vid cams do the same thing, due to frequency versus camera FPS, but for cheap, this worked pretty good and got the point across.

  26. loboalfa13 says:

i will like to get 1 but they r
Out of stock on xheli i need help

  27. MrYoyi96 says:

how much does one of these cost?

  28. Tanha159 says:

    dhcjhsolb

  29. haddock4056 says:

can u get the british version i would be too tempted to crash the u.s one or burn it

  30. willwoodhouse says:

@Rob07601 also this lacks the ramp at the back, the massive fuel tanks at either side, the windows are different and on the CH-47 the front rotors are tilted forward :)

  31. smartass23t says:

I’d get one of these if it wasn’t a COAXIAL…just a regular fixed pitch would be nice but I hate coax’s…

  32. xxkil says:

    beautiful

  33. xhelicopter says:

It probably can, but will kill the battery faster

  34. Sirrom0206 says:

    Can it carry 10 oz?

  35. Rob07601 says:

Definitely CH-46 Sea Knight, my brother flew in them in the USMC in Vietnam. CH-46 is USMC/Navy only and has 3 landing gear, CH-47 is larger, flown by Army and has 4 landing gear.

  36. JaleelJohanson62 says:

Why don’t you go find a fucking portal to somewhere else and jump into it. Fucking douchebag…lol

  37. veyron12020 says:

It is a chinook you fucking moron.

  38. clockwise3559 says:

does it have ciclic controlls too roll?

  39. omnianti0 says:

totally unstable : cause 1 tandem cause 2 : rotor front and rear are same sens : minimal wind is a threat

  40. smartjan says:

If I watch this video I can only see 3 channels at work: – Throttle, – Nick and – Yaw. The helicopter doesn’t roll in this video, the sidedrift that I saw might be caused by crosswind.

  41. xhelicopter says:

    xheli . com

  42. nitrorazor10 says:

very nice helicopter. Very stable where did you get it?

  43. ToyMaster83 says:

Good for you.. we’re not all heli experts and just because someone knows what its real label is doesn’t mean he/she is a better RC flyer. We’re not all ‘tards. Some of us just wanna get our hands on one of these and get it into the air! Wooooo! My s022 has had a few too many crashes and getting ‘blade clanging’ where the blades of each rotor are connecting with the blades of the other rotor..not good to hear and affects performance :(

  44. iloveportals says:

cos its labeled as one. why ? what do u think it is ? . a jumbo jet?

  45. basvarkevisser says:

what is the name of the song ?

  46. thebakerman1 says:

Because the manufacturers website say’s it’s a Chinook.

  47. staffan117 says:

why r there so many r taRDS WHO THINK ITS A CHINOOK!!

  48. SheepJumpFish says:

CH-46 sea knight, not CH-47 chinook

  49. 5xxdude says:

paste this to 2 other videos

go to your channel and see your comments

    JUST DO IT IT’S SCARY!!
(omg I was SHOCKED when I saw my comments)

  50. jayceeuybarreta says:

hey cool. that looks just like the walkera 38. btw, its not a chinook, its a sea knight :D
