    good info..
throttle hold only cuts off the motor, throttle stick (which is used to change the pitch on the blades) and the other stick stay active.. it’s only that the motor isn’t driving or rotating the blades
the blades would free rotate to allow you to land the helicopter, called auto rotation.

I recommend you invest in a flight simulator before attempting any 3d maneuvers

is their a good video or web page that explains how to do some of the 3d tricks? I just went from a 4 channel to a 6 channel heli and am eager to move on to more exciting things, but don’t want to do anything stupid that is gonna wreck my heli

My idle up switch must be stuck, ive tried loads of times to hit it in flight but my finger just cant seem to flick it over lol, its much more easier to swith over when the heli is turned off lol !!!!

Nice comment halmiller2.Nuttcaze doesn’t know how to fly 3d.That is why X-heli hired Tony.

  14. halmiller2 says:

you will get the same flight time wither in or out of idle up with the same flight pattern, rpm is not proportianal to amps.

actually, since its a cheap ESC, you should get slightly longer flight times IN idle up as these escs are less efficient at lower throttle settings.

also, if you are doing loops and stuff, you should take those flybar weights off, it makes bailing out a LOT quicker etc :P
