@nitrorcx see what i mean im not trying to be mean or anything but if your going to spend 700 on a rc car u would want it to come with quality parts i mean like come on exceed rc get with the game. himotos little rc buggys ship with metal gears lol man but damn one more question are the differentials platic gears aswell?
@pimpinpenz currently the 1/5th ships with plastic gears. You can switch out to metal gears if you prefer. But we never had any problems yet with our plastic gears, which is also cheaper to replace
@nitrorcx alright and the gears are made of metal right because the ones on my nitro were plastic not even worth putting them in there because they will shred from taking off too fast.
@pimpinpenz so far, we have hot made major jumps with this vehicle, but as you can see from the video it took everything quite well, and after the day it was still in great condition. We do recommend that if you do plan on jumping with the 1/5th, double check everything such as screws and gears.
are these fine to take off jumps? i bought a nitro rc car and only got 5 days worth of fun out of it if i buy another rc car im going 2 stroke since thats where my specialty of engine work is. i was looking at these and thought they looked very durable but looks can be deceiving are these really that great? are they going to break after a 1ft tall ramp?

we havent been back to this place since last summer for footage in the new XXX_Trucks2 dvd, its one of the best places to break shit. lol… As for Nitro vs. Electric its a personal choice. We prefer nitro but some of those E cars are super fast.
I know this vid is older now but its still one of my favorite bash vids! Do you guys still go to this location? About to buy a new MBX6 and I am not sure if I should go brushless conversion or go Nitro for awhile first…..
